Exercise or Wine - Vote Here

Seems like red wine blunts the effectiveness of exercise:

So I guess you should either run or drink wine.

I vote for red wine.
Wine and beer make my rosacea face flush--so I vote for both exercise and bourbon or Irish Whiskey (they don't cause the flush--for me anyway) :)
You're kidding, right? Cake or wine ? .... wine; chocolate or wine ? .... wine; exercise or wine ? .... well, wine, of course!!!

I guess there's no hope for me, but I do love my wine :drink: :drink:
The article did say it effects the results of aging men. Hmmm, I'm not a man so... ;)
A definite vote ir wine from me
I'll go with cake and exercise, why not both, but I can leave the wine.

I romance the idea of a good bottle of wine, but then through my first, I think, whats the deal here, I'm not getting it.
I only tipple in December.
I bet those 65 year olds were pissed to hear they were "aged"! Anyway, not a man and incredibly young at 57 so I'll keep walking, drinking red and I'll throw in some chocolate to boot!
I'll go with the wine, my knees can cope with that but not running. Mind you you have to run a long way to get rid of the wine calories.
Marybeth - I sympathise with the rosacea problem, I gave up red wine a few years ago (except for the odd glass at christmas or birthday say) ...

But I found out I can still drink white wine !!!!!

So my vote is white wine! More specifically, a very expensive bottle of Sancerre or Chablis!
Oh and not forgetting chocolate (but not at the same time, lol!)
This research is good news - the amount of wine per day would be more than 20 bottles, and white would be OK anyway - I shall carry on training (and getting faster!) with no worries now...
Running in the morning, wine in the evening, never both together
for me its running at weekdays (when the weather is OK) and wine/walking at the weekends. Running and wine never on the same day.

The reason is I never drink alone and my partner walks, dosnt run. She is only around at weekends
I don't run but I do exercise four times a week. I do however like wine and unless I'm fasting if I want wine I have it.....
