Getting Sweaty! Exercise & Fitness

When I had more of a chest I also used the shock absorber ones - really recommend them. I can get away with cheaper ones now because sadly I haven't got much left! I've gone from a 36 EE to a 32 C / sometimes D. Sports direct often have deals on various other brands too - get all of my fitness clothing from them now because it is so much cheaper!
Haha, i'm not quite at the 2 peas stage! Just a bit more bouncy...

I should probably buy another in the smaller size rather than sticking with the one that's too big!
Thanks for all the candid replies. I fired off the first post as the toddler was climbing over me, so sorry if it appeared a bit brusk.

I have tried the shock absorber a few years ago, but it didnt work. I think it is the same company as Bereli. Perhaps the design has improved a bit since I last used them. I am currently doing the double bra method, and chaffing is an issue. I think ye are spot on about the changing shape and peas in a bucket (Great expression! ). Though rather than pert peas i have heads of cabbages.

Next question will have to be about strapless bras! They never work for me either. with summer coming and my changing shape it would be nice to wear strapless dressed or halter tops.
Definitely shock absorber, d+ maximum sports bra, does up at the back with nice wide straps. I do body combat and it is the only one that works. Nice cups and easy to get into, you just have to get the right size. Good luck
i wear two shock absorber bras at a time! i hate feeling any sort of movement when i'm running, so do my best to really strap them in.
This is my kind of question!

Yes I'm a Shock Absorber fan too, I have the Run Bra - http://www.shockabsorber.co.uk/en/products/ultimate-range/ultimate-run-bra/ BUT...

I also wear another sports top ON TOP - http://www.jdsports.co.uk/product/nike-pro-airbourne-sports-bra/069670/

Although my boobs have reduced a little since losing weight I'm still a DD cup and in my book YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MUCH SUPPORT!

My only issue at the moment is I have a frozen shoulder, which means I can't do up the top fastening of the Shock Absorber bra (hubby has to do it!) but I can undo it with one hand!! Also, I can't reach behind my back, so I have to swizzle the bra around until the fastener is in front, which is tricky - although not as tricky as getting the second bra top on and off with more or less only one arm -

Anyway good luck and I wish you a bounce-free workout! :clover: :like:
I can't stand the shock absorber, I think they should be done for false advertising! If you have to wear two they can't be very good IMHO!
The best sports bra I've ever had is the one I bought last month from Bravissimo (I'm a 32GG) http://www.bravissimo.com/products/ling ... l/?level=1
I can run and do jumping jacks in it with very little, if any movement but it's tight to get on at first as mine has 4 hooks on the back. I also love it because it is underwired so gives a good (if a bit pointy) lift and shape. I find shock absorbers and the like squish the boobs together in the front giving the dreaded mono-boob effect, yuk!
I highly recommend going into a store and getting fitted properly for one as they can sometimes come up different sizes from your normal bras, also you can jump up and down in the changing room to see how they work LOL ;-)
Please DO seek out the Moving Comfort bras. They are stunningly good. I won't be buying any other sort for as long as I can get these. They are SO comfortable and nothing moves. I love how the shoulder straps adjust with Velcro at the front - so easy, and the straps are amazingly comfortable too. Worth every penny. My local running shop who also do mail order, tell me that they have had amazing feedback on them. They do various styles but Juno is the one that suits my shape and size.

The shock absorber run ones are naff, the original ones were better.
So I went to the sports store today and discovered I am using the shock absorber run bra in lizzieh's link. Bereli is the brand and shock absorber is the range. Like several of you I have to wear another bra with it.

Totally agree @JennyH10. That, and the contorsions needed to do up the upper catch like @lizzieh describes drives me mad.

I always get measured for every bra and I am glad I'm not the only one jumping around.  I cant get my size (small back/big cups) in chain stores so I always go to specialist lingerie shops. However I find bra shops dont stock good sports bras and sports shops dont know how to measure and fit bras :?: :frown: I often end up buying online as even the lingerie shops frequently dont do my size.

So, I will have to look into Moving Comfort, @winsome.
Never heard of moving comfort but will definitely have a look.
What size are you scuba? I also have small back/large cup size (32GG, down from 34H thanks to 5:2).
In answer to your other question Bravissimo are great for strapless bras too, they have a good range I think so you can find a good one for your own shape.
I'm not on commission from Bravissimo BTW, although I should be ;-)
I've tried 'shock absorber', but they are no good for me - major chafing during long runs. Can't seem to get the right fit. I'm a very weird size (broad shoulders - no boobs!), since losing weight and am having difficulty finding sports bras. At the moment I'm wearing Berlei sports bra (style with underwires but no seams over the cup), with sports crop top over top. Haven't had any chafing issues with this combo & everything is staying still!
I've just bought my second Berlei Ultimate Performance bra as my first one is wearing out. Best sports bra I've ever used. I'm a size 18E; not sure what that is in UK sizing. I jog/run and play netball in it. It's really quite snug (and can be claustrophobic on a hot, humid day) with a butterfly clip at the back to pull it in tighter to run. I got it cheaper on ebay and also bought a Triumph Triaction Extreme (aren't these names awesome), but it hasn't arrived yet. I hadn't heard of 'shock absorber' until this thread, so might check them out next time I need to upgrade.
Found this site looks good. Love the idea of a Goddess bra http://www.lessbounce.com/sports-bras-b ... 5pd240.htm
These are the BEST strapless bras I've ever had, by a MILE!

My observations are that they come up small on the band and large on the cups. I see they are now doing G cups, but previously I had managed to stuff my 36Gs into a 38F. I haven't tried them since going down to a 34DD/E.

I wore one of these to hubby's 40th birthday, where I danced all night with great enthusiasm, and nothing moved. They give a great shape too. None of that funny flattening you get with most strapless bras.

My only complaint is that they are bulky to store. That, and the fact that mine are too big and I've only worn them a few times
