16th January Friday fasting
16 Jan 2015, 06:21
Friday is here again and I hope all fasters will have a successful and busy day forgetting about food, though not drinks! :clover: One thing is true for us: that after 2 years of regular fast days they are not difficult and just a routine. This forum helps incredibly with that.
I often seem to be the first in on the forum as it's early here and I am making for the 7 am gym group. This post is repetitive but putting it in writing can set me up for the day.

I'm fasting today! It's only my second fast of my first week. I'm doing consecutive days because it's just feels right. Was pretty hungry by tea time yesterday but am feeling fine now, as predicted.....
I'm sticking to between 5 and 600 cals on fast days and am spreading this between lunch and dinner, having thick soup for both meals. This worked well for me yesterday but it's obvs very early days for me here!!!
Good luck everyone for today......

I was in fluid fasting today until 7:30pm when I opened the eating window. Just had a big salad with a couple of turkey rissoles for my protein.

@pudpud17 power to you for back to back, I have ever been brave. So well done you. Welcome as well.

I'm in today, did Tuesday as well (but didn't manage to check in on the forum). Should be busy at work to help the day pass quickly. It's much easier to do a Friday now that I'm not drinking during Dry January, that temptation is completely removed.

Good luck everyone :clover:

I'm in today as well. Snowing again this morning so I'll be doing housey stuff again today but I will go an do my food shopping this morning. This afternoon I will make roasted cauliflower soup for my dinner (and the freezer) and I'll also have a large salad with a small amount of olives and feta but no dressing.

I'm in today. Tried and failed yesterday, hit around 900 calories but with a successful fast today it's possible to turn disaster into triumph  love this WOE. Very busy today, physio this morning, small dog walks to drop off and pick up my dog from the dog walker, pile of ironing and then a manicure. That should take me through to chicken with garlic, chilli and ginger with courgette spaghetti  good luck fellow fasters

You've got your day planned well @Skinnyjeans. Not sure I understand the small dog walk pick ups
I'm in today. My third of the week. I'm not having lunch today because the calories are too high on my meal (chicken and mushroom taglatelle...mmm) Just thinking about taking the girls out for a cold walk :frown: and then I guess I'll just have to occupy myself with my shop... :starving:

I'm in, from yesterday evening as usual, been for a brisk weighted walk for a good 2 miles in the cold winter sun (3*C), now just had a mug of boullion, next is the ironing to warm me up.
There's fish and stirfry veg in avocado oil for dinner when my 24 hours is up, then on to the next 16 hours of fast until breakfast around 11am tomorrow.
Got to be good for at least a pound off surely?
Onwards dear friends, downwards :0)

I'm here today attempting a modified 4-3 day. I tried my 3rd day on Friday last week and failed big time because I forgot I had a church function that night full of yummy treats. There is no event today so I'm trying this again. My regular Monday and Wednesday fasts went very very well. Today I'm aiming between 800-1000 calories.

Late again but I'm in !!
Would have been earlier but I had a lap full of purring cat ...and I couldn't disturb her !
Been out on a girly shopping morning but stuck with it ...just a skinny latte for 100 cals, my normal protein bar and then slow roasted tomato soup for dinner.
Looks like my naughty birthday lunch tomorrow is off as hubby is full of a head cold so just going to count my third fast as a bonus this week ...

I'm recovering from knee surgery so I can't take the dog for her main walk. Making steady progress and even a 15 minute walk is amazing after being stuck in the house for weeks.
