Hang in there Suchard! I have resorted to chewing gum this afternoon....
Hang in - you'll feel great tomoz, ans the week will be off to a great start.

I'm cold and wet on the train - think its time to sort out the coat and brolly situation.
Well, my <100 cal soup turned into about 120 in the end. I poured 5 big serving spoons into a bowl, leaving one behind in the pan - if I'd left it at that it would have been, indeed, 100 cal. But when I got back in the kitchen, thinking what I was going to do with the small amount leftover, I thought, 'What the hell!' and that was the end of that!

Then I had a 10 cal jelly, with some 'light' soya cream - new to me, which added another 25 cals. The 'cream' is on the thinnish side, not as tasty as the normal stuff, but not bad for all that.

I was late to bed and remember thinking, 'This duvet's a bit on the thin side' although I'd only just plumped it up a couple of days previously, when we changed the bedding. And my feet were a bit cold - and I never get cold feet.

It was only when I woke up about 5.00, still with cold feet, that I realised that it was the fact that I was 30+ hours into a fast that was causing it! I lay there for another half hour, wondering if I could go back to sleep, but eventually, I gave up. I grabbed a pair of thick socks, and my winter dressing gown and came downstairs.

I figured a bowl of porridge would still leave me under 600 cals. (Not that the calorie count is important, just that I had planned on going through until lunch on that amount - giving me a <600 cal fast of about 40 hours.) I had the porridge with a spoonful of molasses - and a cup of cocoa.

So, in the end, I managed a 35 hour fast on around 160 calories. I'm happy with that.
Morning all. Seen a good result on the scales, at last maybe I'm moving off my 3 month plateau - fingers crossed. Slept well, which is great.

Off for a day of work, sewing and baking, then fasting again on Wednesday - probably with an evening 500 cals as with my son.

Hope scales are kind to us all this morning.
Slept like a baby last night which is a first on a fast day. Not weighing until Friday though
Morning all .... I only just managed to get past the Weetabix cake last night - it was calling me and my stomach was answering. Scales OKish this morning - I'll do another 36er on Thursday (or maybe a 120cal soup day to keep B&W company ) and then I'll weigh and add to my tracker on Saturday. It's nice to be back on the forum and seeing the familiar faces/avatars.
It's nice to see your smiling face Suchard :)

I've been getting a lot of comments from friends on how good I'm looking - really surprised just how much it boosts me! My weight hasn't changed for a few weeks, but I've upped my activity level another notch, and feel very fit and active - think I'm muscle building, so all good.
@rawkaren - thats good you slept. Just saying good luck to all my fellow liquid fasters today - I'll see you tomorrow and hang in there - the day is half over
I'm liquid fasting today. Water and tea to keep me going. Anyone else in today?
I'm in with you.

Strange day here, peculiar coloured sky. Looking forward to a lunchtime walk to get some fresh air, after being stuck in all day yesterday
Im in too. 12 hours til bed time. Coffee, ginger tea, coconut water(if really necessary) and sparkling water til bed time. Woke up hungry though so maybe not a good start
Hi all,
I've decided to give it a go as well today
It's been a long time since I've attempted a 36 hour liquid only fast, so we'll see .........
Off to a good start anyway. so feeling cautiously optimistic
Good luck to all fasting :clover:
I'm in for a good 36er - just herbal teas to see me through till tomorrow. Maybe some weak bouillon if I'm flagging :-)

Happy Wednesday fellow fasters!
I'm just about to go to bed after my first liquid fast in a while. Just got back from Thailand and I know the scales will not be nice to me on weigh in day tomorrow, but I'm hoping today gave them a little boost downwards.

Good luck to anyone else fasting today :)
