 I'm in after a week of no fasting. Yes, I didn't wind up fasting at all last week. Kept active, walking seems to really help me when I feel crap. Will be interesting to see how I go fasting this week no, whether it'll be harder after a week off, or easier.

Didn't help that I had birthday cake and a few chocolates for dinner, silly me.  but apparently when you've been skating for a couple of hours and someone offers cake, it seems like a totally reasonable dinner.
Thanks, KataMac.

I'm in - hoping for a complete liquid fast this time.

Had a week away with new grandson and family last week, so didn't fast at all - except, after a good breakfast followed by a good lunch on the day we left, I had a low calorie dinner when I got home. And I didn't eat until dinner the following day. So a 24hr <250 calorie fast, after all.
I'm in too. Had a totally indulgent day food-wise yesterday - both lunch and dinner out at friends' - and enjoyed every morsel. I have come to look forward to my Monday liquid fast and it feels like my body really enjoys it too.

Have a good day/week everyone!
Having a go as I feel a bit crappy and don't feel like eating anyway!
I'm in again. I've been successfully liquid fasting for a while now but my weight has started to go up. Not sure what is going on as I'm not doing anything different, I don't think.
Yep, count me in too pls  2 good 36hr LOF last week (is that legitimate? can I use it? LOF = Liquid Only Fast??!!) my scales starting to go in the right direction again now. Want to continue this right up until Christmas and earn my place in the Christmas Club! Good luck everyone. @wildmissus.... weight gain nothing to do with your lovely new kitchen now is it !!! ??xx
I'm in today - first attempt at liquid fasting, so wish me luck! Seems a good idea as seem to have hit the dreaded plateau, although that could be something to do with too much toast and peanut butter/wine!
I'm in. I thought I'd turned a corner, after a 3 month plateau, and had seen some new numbers, but I'm back up today. I'm going to stand up all day today as well, to get into fat burning mode aqap

Good luck pinchypops - its great when you've done it!
@pinchypops let us know how it went for your first liquid only fast - hope it was all OK for you
Successful liquid fast for me yesterday, with only 100 cals worth of tea drunk! Unfortunately, I drank so much liquid I ended up getting up twice in the night, ggrrrrr!!
I think I'm hard core. Sat through the family having chicken curry for tea tonight, then I prepped up a stew for the slow cooker tomorrow and finally put the breadmaker on timer so I can have peanut butter on toast for breakfast and........nothing passed my lips. I am hungry though!
I'm very lucky in that I've yet to feel hungry when I'm fasting, and today's been no exception.

My intention at the moment is to continue the fast until tomorrow evening, except that I shall have some ground flaxseeds (for the omega 3) with fruit juice in the morning - <150 calories. But I'm quite relaxed about it - 36 (or 39 as it will be) hours is very respectable.

Does anyone else do as I do, and mark the hours off as they go? I went to bed at 2am last night thinking, 'I'm 7 hours into this already'. Then when I wake around 10, I think 'There's 13 hours in the bag!'. And so on through the day. It seems to give me a sense of achievement and carries me through.

Coming up to 29 hours, and counting!
Morning liquid fasters! I'm in today. Green sludge day which is basically juiced cucumbers, celery, lemons, ginger and apple with kale blended in. Tastes nicer than it sounds.  Well done to everyone so far.
Hope it goes well today rawkaren - you'll be brimming with goodness !

Easy fast for me yesterday, I achieved something I've always wanted to do,a totally food-free day. I'm usually cooking or clearing up for someone else on a fast day, but the family are away for half-term, and I was trapped at home because of lack of trains, so I cleaned the kitchen first thing, got rid of all the bins/compost/recycling, and had a totally "clean" day with no evidence of food in the house. Will make up for it this morning, as I'm preparing for a dinner party tonight, and making the first of the Parkins for bonfire.
Liquid fast was much easier than I thought! Had coffee and water in the morning and then purchased a mango and passion fruit juice boost from cafe nero, which according to mfp came in at around 191 cals. Bought soup for the evening incase I really wanted something, thinking of it as a liquid fast cheat - didn't touch it and just finished the day off with peppermint and nettle tea. Looking forward to my bagel and peanut butter later, but didn't wake up as hungry as I expected to be! Think this wil be the way forward until christmas - I'm determined to get out of this plateau! Good luck everyone else xx
