Anyone else liquid fasting this week?

I was silly and had a late arvo tea of plenty of chocolate slice, so then didn't feel like dinner and didn't eat... so woke up hungry. Think the lemon chicken breasts, potato salad and veg would have been a much better start to the fast. :starving:

So now it's 10am, I'm hungry AND I'm doing my tax return and this is not a good combo. Why why why am I so disorganised??? Just had a cup of tea with milk, and that's made me feel a bit happier.

Haha, lets hope I learn from this and in future have a sensible meal night before a fast and keep better records for tax.... bahahaha unfortunately, I know the latter is not likely to happen.
I'm liquid fasting today as usual; on my way to do some shopping to distract myself...

I hope you enjoyed the chocolate slice KataMac! I had a similar experience but with peanuts... Lucky it's only one day we have to get through. Good luck to you and anyone else out there who's liquid fasting today!
I'm liquid fasting today. It's easier than the other way. Glad I found you. Good luck everyone :clover: :clover:
Glad I'm not the only one doing it AiriR!
Rawkaren, I find it easier too.
I'm in today as usual - bad night's sleep, so a bit grumpy.

Getting really fed up with my plateau - I've gained again. I'm doing LFs, low carbing, 16:8 on feed days and as much NEAT as I can manage. But no change.

Good luck to everyone fasting today.
Very frustrating! Maybe you need a binge to startle your body into action?
How long have you been on the plateau min?
I'm in, chocolate and pringle downfall yesterday  think I will do 2 liquid fasts as Friday will only be a half fast. Daughter is having sleepover and pizza! Still know how to get rid of any gains
I'm in today. I had a sneaky peak at the scales this morning - blimey, I think I must have grown another arm over the weekend! I must stop snacking.
I'm 2kg above my lowest weight which was in mid-July so I guess its a 10 week plateau. I do binge at weekends, or certainly eat calorie dense food, so I do mix up my intake.

If I'm honest, booze is the culprit, I'm sure. But I was drinking and losing for the first 6 months on 5:2
I'm liquid fasting today even though its my birthday! Has you get older you tend not to look forward to them. Best of luck everyone x
Happy birthday JJ!
36 hour liquid fast? Can someone tell me how it differs from usual fast?
I am fasting today..havent eaten since dinner last night...saving my 500 cals til tonights dinner then nothing else til what is usually a late breakfast / lunch tomorrow
Does 36 hr fast mean no dindins tonight..just liquids til tomorrow morning? XX
Oh and Happy Birthday Jj! Fasting today shows real dedication!
Happy birthday JJ.
CandiceMarie, yes, that's pretty much it. I find it easier to just not eat at all until breakfast - eating seems to trigger my hunger.
Ok guys - I'm trying a liquid fast due to my abysmal failure to curb my weekend gluttony:-( put up 3lbs over the weekend:-( I am over full still after yesterday so going to do a liquid fast of just coffee.

I was then going to have some homemade mushroom soup at 6pm if I need to before my run (58 cals per portion). Would people count that as a liquid fast or do you need to stick to coffee tea and water only?

Has anyone had success in kickstarting their weightloss doing liquids that included homemade (calorie light) soup ? :?:
