Weds are usually my 2nd fast day of the week.Twinings Green tea with lemon, an oxo and at 4pm-ish a tea with milk will hopefully see me through till dinner at 7pm. Lentil stew. yum :)
I am also in, doing 4:3 this week. Actually I have been doing ADF as I have fasted Sat, Mon and today.
I am trying to accelerate weight-loss this week as I am off on a 15-day holiday starting Mon. when I doubt I will be fasting at all.
A bit scared as this has been for me,the most successful WOL I have ever tried. Whatever happens, I know I can get back on track when I return in early Dec. with the help of this forum. Hopefully I will still be able to make my Christmas club goal of being under 160 lb. for the first time in about 15 years.
Hope you all have a happy, easy fast day. :like:
Wrote a long post here first thing, but no sign of it.... Ah well...

On my second ever fast today having done my first ever one yesterday. Yesterday was fine; ended up with 17 calories left over. Today will be more of a challenge as I will be at home this evening, rather than at a meeting which was the case yesterday.

I've had a decent breakfast; tea with a splash, a boiled egg, 2 oatcakes with half a teaspoon of marmite. From yesterday's experience I think I will join with the majority in future, holding off from eating until later in the day. However, having fasted yesterday I had to have some breakfast today in order to function.

Nice to 'meet' you all: I hope everyone has a good day.
Welcome Blaise. You are very brave to start off with back-to-back fasts. After 3 months of this WOL I don't think I could do it yet. All the best. :like: :clover:
I'm in  :coffee:
I'm in today. I already feel that this day is going to be really hard, but I'll manage. Had a small breakfast today - yoghurt and some crisp bread with ham. Looking forward to a 350 kcal dinner - soup or a parma ham and tomato salad maybe. Meanwhile, drinking 100 cups of coffee and water.
I'm in. Setting myself up for success by knowing its just one day lol.
This is my 42nd fast since I began this WOE.
Happy fasting everyone xxx
I'm hungry!

And yes, I am hydrated - I'm drowning in tea and water!

Never mind: two hot dog sausages for lunch, and maybe even a jelly  I'm going to need a lot of fizzy water to get me through an evening at home though....

But yeh then it is very close to just another diet but with two days of no food at all. I'm confusing myself I think.. but it's nice that someone is in the same boat with regards to it all - and we have similar BMI too.
Lil

lilsmiler its eat normally five days a week - not eat whatever you like I do believe. There is a subtle difference that made the penny drop for me. I don't think I'd be allowed to eat as much as a I am eating at the weeekends on any other diet.

anywho - I'm in today for 2nd fast of the week. Just had some wafer thin ham there and going to have 2 sausages around 5pm and that's me done. Not finding it difficult except for the cold - especially since I'm on meds for an ulcer at the moment - stupid alcohol and chinese takeaway
Count me in. Not sure if i'll stick with 4:3 or go back to 5:2 now my exercise routine is so much more intense.

Good luck all fasting today.
Doing a semi-fast today to reduce calories for the day with only coffee & water until a supper of bangers & mash. I really want to try & kick start my weight loss again so hoping this will help. I may try a proper fast tomorrow because my usual fast day on Friday can only be 16:8ing because of a special birthday supper.
Late posting up but I am in!
Had two coffees with a splash of milk and lots of peppermint tea so far!
Planning sweet chilli cod and cauliflower cheese for dinner which is HOURS away.
Not feeling hungry yet- probably because I am so busy today plus it's sunny and have been out walking with the hound.
Happy Fasting all xxx
I'm in for my usual Wednesday, This will be fast day no 71. Hope you all have a good day.
I'm in. And SO cold! I went for a brisk walk earlier but now I'm catching up on stuff on the computer which means sitting still. And feeling cold! This is weird for me because I'm almost always too hot.

I've just made myself a nice mug of herbal tea to warm me up and am snuggling a microwave hot bag (you know, filled with wheat or lavender or some such) as I sit typing this. My mouse hand is frozen but the rest of me has thawed out. Lovely!

This post is absolute displacement activity - I'm meant to be catching up on long overdue paperwork!
ok and now I'm out. Just had an egg sandwich (sorry fasters) and broke my 3rd fast of the week. it will have to be a 16:8 today. I'm a bit gutted really because me brain tricked me. I wanted the sandwich for about 2 hours and then before I knew it, I had made the decision to brake my fast, made the sandwich and eaten it. Then I realized I hadn't had anything to drink for about 3 hours. Doh!!(homer style). I find it much harder to fast on a wednesday because it's not a normal fastday (mon & fri) for me. Oh well, I already have dinner planned so it should still be a low cal day. Sorry guys, I've let the team down. Stay strong :)
