Fasting on Friday 9th Jan
09 Jan 2015, 05:57
I am all set for fasting today and enjoying an early lemon tea. After a workout in the gym, there's a couple of hours of teaching at home. I'll be sipping water as I use spare time in the middle of the day for computer tasks, keeping up with household and warm up on a hot cup of bouillon. It's grilled chicken breast and salad tonight. Weather forecast is very windy and wet though not as severe as in northern UK. Good fasting to all... I can't believe I am speaking just to myself? :clover:

Not on your own @Katharina
I'm in for the third of the week, my days are a bit mixed up but have managed to get through the week.
We're forecast high winds , 70km/hr and low temps too 15C ( ahem ! )
Bit worried about the tower crane going up and the tarmac curing for this blasted job...
can't do anythign about the weather, but can control the eating!
Good luck to fellow fasters : clover :

 Hi there Katharina,
no, you are not speaking to yourself. Hi all who will join this thread.

I am in, too. So that makes January 2015 a 4:3 for me. I wanted to decide it end of the week. 5:2 or 4:3. Now it's the latter. My fasting on Monday was really hard (hardest day ever for me so far). Tuesday was easy. I am sure today will be fine, too.

Will eat dinner around 6 p.m. Veggies and Harzer cheese (a protein bomb with 60 g in 200 g, almost 0 fat and only 250 calories). It's my best way of getting protein on a fast day and thus "keeping the machine" melt fat over night, too.

The luxury of my FD is that I put a little cream in my coffee. I just need that. Right now I am enjoying my first cup.

Cheers
FFF! :victory:

I'm in ADF mode. Today is supposed to be a fast day, but I think I've been tempted into a drink later. I hope not to go too far over 500!

I'm in. Third fast this week, hubby away skiing so I won't have to watch him with a glass of red and a bowl of pistachios this evening! Off to rehab gym with physio now to get this wretched knee moving. Happy fast day

I'm in too in soggy Sussex , not too windy down here yet but it's cold .. or maybe that is just me being fast day cold.

I might slip in an extra fast next week , as its my birthday on Thursday and I have 2 birthday dinners to go to , one on the day and one on Saturday with friends so am thinking an extra one on Wednesday will do me no harm

Holding out for my protein bar at 1pm and then not sure on dinner yet I don't have any of my usual Innocent Veg pots in stock so maybe some kind of veggie egg combo would be in order , I have super greens soup in the fridge but I am not feeling the soup love today

Me too! Started at 6.30 last night, hoping to make 24 hours before eating anything.
Water, black coffee, bouillon if needed, herbal tea too, I'm floating my way through todays' fast.
Haddock and stir fry for dinner then back to liquids until mid morning tomorrow.
We can do this, yes we can. Good luck everyone :0)

I've just broken mine as I have had to take a wedge of strong painkillers and I can't do that on an empty tum

I've got a growth on my spine which is playing up at the moment . if its a bit better tomorrow I'll give it another try ....
