23:21 in London.
I'm off to sleep but will join you in my morning. take care all  :victory:
I'm in.
We've sold our house and now have to find another one in country Victoria.
The weight gain through all of this is terrible.I wish that stress would stop me from eating but alas the opposite happens.
Today I am going to be very good.
Cheers all.
Hi - I'm in too today - good luck all
Im in too! Good luck, Monday fasters!
Thanks for starting us off @Lizbean. Yes stress makes me eat too @carmelk46. Only managed one sort of fast last week, then had to fly off to a funeral later in the week (third one this year).
So offically starting back on 5:2 this week and hoping for no more dramas!!
Good luck all
@Carmelk46@Wineoclock I hope all goes well for you. :clover: :victory: We can find way our through stress, working through it in small steps, so it is less damaging to us. :clover:
Good morning all. After missing Thursday's fast, to have lunch with @GMH, and after a week in Sydney, I am so relieved to be fasting today. Yesterday I went with my friend on the Manly ferry and had fish and chips in Manly. After that I felt like a never wanted to eat every again and I am so happy it is Monday. Shouldn't be too hard as I am travelling. This morning my sister is taking me to a famous Sydney chocolate institution: Belle Fleur, so I can buy some exquisite chocolates to take home. I won't be able to taste any samples which is the only shame. I should report, as well as gorging on fish and chips, we also did a really long walk and at the end of the day I had notched up 16,440 steps. I have done a lot of steps here in Sydney. OH will take me out for dinner tonight on arrival in Launceston but I will chose a light option and not eat at all until then. Can't wait to feel hungry!
I'm in!
I'm busy busy busy at work, my colleagues on vacation. Good thing for the fast :)
Having talked it over with OH we have decided to do three days. Today is now a fast day. We are eating at daughters this evening so will try to be sensible. Wine will flow as her French in laws will also be there. Will say no to that! It was a last minute thing so did not want to change the fast.
In today
Had a heavy weekend after my other half was on leave so we had lots of wine and nice food. Looking forward to a bit of a break from it all today with my chicken soup and fruit teas.
Have a good day everyone :victory:
I'm in today. First fast for a few weeks. I have been looking after my two granddaughters while their parents move house from Germany to Belgium and have been eating a meal with them at lunchtime and then eating again in the evening! Plus I have felt that I 'deserved' extra treats so the result is a gain of three and a half pounds in four weeks! I know that it will go quickly now I have started fasting again but just getting my head in the right place has been tricky this time! However, 'I've started so I will finish' and would like to go a little under my target because I am off to Belgium for more child-minding in three weeks time - all those 'frites' to deal with! What a shame!
Good luck to all those fasting today - we're a bit thin on the ground! Is everyone on holiday?
Hello @StowgateResident, I feel you - "just getting my head in the right place has been tricky this time" - it's very hard for me too. Better not falling out of a wagon, but it's easier said than done.
Wish you luck with today's fast, stay strong!
Thanks, @Callanthe, and welcome to the forum! I'll be fine now that I've got started. I've been doing this for over two and a half years now so my body (and mind) know the routine!
I'm here on a Monday for a change as well ... Had a weekend of too much bread and starchy/mostly wheaty carb stuff which was yummy, but doesn't agree with my digestive system much ... so I'm very happy to give the poor thing a break today!
Hope you're all doing fine!
Hello to the small dedicated group of Monday fasters out there! (Or at least the small group that has posted in this thread.)
I'm sipping fizzy water with lemon and digging into work.
I have some pumpkin soup for late afternoon and some chicken prepared for reheating at home, to be paired with a nice salad.
Aiming for a 4:3 week  Wish me :clover: !
