It's Monday so it's one of my 4:3. My neck and shoulders had a ghastly weekend and it's continuing into today. I hope this clears soon as I have a lot to do (aside from the desire not to be miserable :) ).

I hope this is a tranquil appetite day for all my fellow fasters.
Hi I am in today, too although where I live it is Monday the 8th December? Or have logged on to a fast day forum in another slightly offset universe?
Like everybody else here I have also overeaten severely on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as I made some biscuits and cakes for my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately, once let loose and the gates are open I am off... Today I am firmly reined in and the gates are shut. Why is moderation so difficult? Why can I do a 36hr water fast with almost no problem and then I cannot restrain on eating days? Sometimes I think I have cracked the whole "food adjustment through fasting" just to be completely proven wrong again.
It proves to me that like life our WOE is a "one-day-at-a-time" approach. Last Wedndesday I hit an all time low with my weight but this morning (weekly weigh in for me) I weigh almost 3lbs more. But luckily I am still within my maintenance range.
Good luck everybody.
good morning Monday fasters. I'm in today for the first of the week. Wishing us all an easy fast. Get well soon @SallyO and listen to your body x
Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the 8th LOL!
I'm fasting today. Got 150 cupcakes to make. Easy!!!
Hello fellow fasters!
This is my first real fast day in a long, long time, I reached target a while ago and since then I have just used an eating window when my weight increased a bit, but my weight has been gradually creeping up and is now slightly over my maintenance window so I am going to fast three days this week and three next to try and get down to the lower end before Christmas, I don't want to start next year way over my target!
@JennyH10 yikes, 150 cupcakes? And I was debating on whether to make 12 for the kids or not as I have some frosting in the fridge I need to use, I was thinking it might be a bad idea on a fast day but if you can make 150...
Good luck everyone
good morning. I'm in today because if I commit here, I will do it. First of three for the week. I feel like I'm losing my focus, so that will help me bring it back. With the holidays coming up, a couple weeks of three days will make me feel better about an occasional indulgence here and there. Everybody have a great day.
Yup am in
Not even hungry today but tormented by thoughts of hot cross buns!
I seem to be getting my seasons mixed up like @SSures gettin dates mixed up!
Sorry about yr neck / shoulders @SSure its so miserable to be in pain, hope its eased now x
I'm in today! I am looking forward to a day of repair :)
Hi fasters!

I'm fasting today, but so sleepy, I can barely remember wanting to eat. I blame the Patriots! At least they won, though it was ugly.
I've been in in today late posting though. Tonight we are having chicken with Quark and spinach filled lasagne rolls with a butternut squash sauce. 450 cals I make it so should be good. All I've had today is 1 cup of coffee and water. Went for a jog for 20 minutes today as first time since the 20th of novenber. Went ok but blooming freezing.
I've been fasting today too and fasting is still easy. Only problem I have is having to visit the bathroom often on fasting days. It's only a problem when I'm stuck in long meetings or when attending lectures. I'm really happy I decided to try 4:3 because it's working well.
@brand - ie what is Quark like?
@jennyH10 my gosh,150 cupcakes? You can do that and not eat one or lick the icing? Respect! X
Well done those who've finished, those who' ve nearly finished, those with still a little way to go! X
We've all given our systems time to rest and repair x
I have finished my fast today. I was supposed to do it yesterday but got upgraded on the flight and so I decided to try the food. Frankly it was not worth it, but at least I stayed low carb. Did not sleep as it was bumpy for most of the way. Couldn't face anything when I landed so decided to fast today instead.
@CandiceMarie Quark is a dairy product. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quark_%28dairy_product%29
I use it in cooking. i make scones with it rather than adding milk and egg. Today I used it instead of ricotta cheese for the filling of the lasagne rolls.

I adapted this recipe. I had to use fresh lasagne and cut it into strips as you cannot get lasagne rolls in my part of the UK. I used spring onion instead of shallots. I used a mix of half fat mature cheddar and hard italian cheese for the blended cheese because couldn't find a blended cheese. I used half the amount of filling but made the same amount of butternut squash sauce because my "noodles" were different. I had 5.5 noodle rolls as a potion and it came out at 319 cals per potion. They were lovely and meat free as well but I cooked a piece of chicken to go with it.
The temperature has significantly dropped this week, so I'm finally fasting in winter for the first time, or that is how it feels.
It's a relief as autumn was strange food wise time for me, in the middle of nowhere type feeling, not quite sure what to eat, salad, or warm veg on a fast day.
Made a fab hearty carrot and leek soup this eve, popped in 4 cloves of fresh garlic, half a bunch of coriander, a couple of slices of ginger, one chilli and some turmeric and cinnamon. Whizzed it the liquidizer and a small dollop of greek yoghurt on top as it ended up pretty 'hot'. Four small individual servings in the freezer, no idea how many cals (I don't count) - anyone want to guess?
Welcome home @rawkaren - forget the food, did you sleep horizontally? Best bit?
