Hey, @Carorees, I was having fun thinking about @nznicole living in this parallel fasting universe where today is the 12th instead of the 8th! And then you went and corrected the date and ruined my little fantasy :grin:. I'm still intrigued after being on this forum for over a year that it's generally a different day entirely across the globe when I'm chatting with my Aussie friends (hi, @Sallyo and @Debs!).

Oh, and I'm in today also. Usually I wait till evening to report in.
@wendyjane i' m just happy thinking when it IS the 12 th i won't be fasting that day as its a friday! X

I'm in today! Having some trouble getting back on board, after dropping out last month for 2 weeks of illness and medicines. I've put a few lbs on, and I'm hoping to lose them before the Xmas holidays but I'm not doing my best job! Yikes! Hope to stay the course today. I had a good 180 cal soup for lunch and I'm having a 130 cal veggie burger for dinner but I also bought a bag of pretzles (160 cal) at work because I just felt so rumbly. Hoping to stay away from anything else!

Good luck @nycnyc2013 :wink: now the kitchen is closed for us apart from a drink, I can't believe I have run out of tea .... so coffee it is :clover:
Whew! Glad this fast day is nearly at an end. This was a tough one. I think I could have eaten my own foot! :bugeyes:

Hot tea was just not cutting it today. I have to figure out something else for Wednesday....something lite for lunch and then a lighter dinner. I'll make this work!
Have been AWOL but am glad to report a successful fast Monday. Good to be back on track again. Also lovely to see so many familiar posters

@lori do you ever try a lowcal cuppasoup or miso or oxo to help warm you up and give you a salty boost on fast days?
Isnt it funny how some fasts are so much harder than others? X
Finishing up my light day with an herbal tea and a bit of coconut milk "ice cream." Going to do the 3-day soup detox for the next 3 days, including my usual light day on Thursday. Will let y'all know how it goes.
