I,m in and almost done. I managed a stricter fast today and am happy with that. I finally weighed myself from my holiday and a week with not 1 but 2 21st Birthday parties. The damage was not nearly as bad as I feared; 1.1kg to get rid of. Today I had the opportunity to break my fast with a delicious luncheon. I stuck to my fast and I'm so glad I did. The temporary pleasure of yummy, warm food I didn't have to cook, is is just that; only temporary. But the effects of the fast becoming long term good health are far more important to me.

Go fasters go! Have a great fast day.

Soupe au pistou pour le diner.
Just popping in to say good luck to you all.....

Fasted yesterday, my third of the week, & just about to weigh in & report in to the Spring/Fall challenge......cor, but it had better be good news, as my losses have been pretty pathetic these past couple of weeks.....

Ooh @peonyblue - what could be nicer than snuggling down with Colin Firth???
I'll tell you what! Snuggling down 6 times with Colin Firth!! Proud of you - I've done it many a time....& never tire of P&P (BBC version is the best!).

Have a great day all xx

Oh la la, beaucoup de Francais le matin je pense. Nous besoin le chanton 'Marsellaise' maintenant!
I'm here too and I really need this fast as I ate for Britain, Brazil and Germany over the weekend! Bread, biscuits and lots of wine were consumed but I felt TERRIBLE by last night. I had forgotten what white carbs did to my body and the ingestion was awful.
So lesson learned and I start again to hopefully put things right before we go away for the weekend.

I'm going for a full fast today. On my holidays ( have I mentioned that before? ;)) and intended refeeding. However, I've been managing quite long windows easily, basically no breakkie or lunch, Then whatever is on offer. Today, I'll do the same but have the poached eggs on toast for tea as per my usual fast.
Ou oeufs avec pain en francais. (wonder what poached is in french? )
Off for a big walk :D sun is shining and I can't work out what the swimming pool is called to check timings, so a walk it is. Too nice to be in:)
I'm in. I have lost 5.5 pounds this week, after my huge gain from a two week holiday, so am now back to goal weight. I had got below that before the holiday so am trying to lose a few more pounds before heading to Germany next weekend to visit my daughter and two lovely grandaughters!

Onwards and downwards, fellow fasters!
Hi all,
Checking in very late today but have fasted all day and now eaten my veges and fruit.
Very tasty too, and followed by my treat of low cal hot chocolate and 1 hard Italian biscuit, all about 400 cals. :like:
I'm back from 5 days up north in the warm, did some walking and swimming, but still have a few extra lbs to lose now.
Enjoyed my indoor swim today- my usual outdoor pool is closed for maintenance, but with the chilly air today I was happy to go indoors!
Happy fasting for the rest of Monday fellow fasters!
I'm in today too. Just been for my jog of 25 minutes. Then I had some errands to run in town and shopping to do. Will have chicken and salad for dinner today later.
Joining you all today on my first fast of the week. We are going to Malta on Friday so trying to lose some weight before then. So will also be fasting on Wednesday & this week on Thursday because I don't fancy fasting when flying & a drink & snacks in the business class lounge at Gatwick before flying is part of my enjoyment of going away.
I hope you all have a good fast day! our supper will be an M & S Fuller Longer meal & coffee & water until then :clover:
I'm fasting today as I was away over the weekend, on a shopping trip in Syracuse, NY so missed my usual Sunday fast.
Good news: Haven't really gone shopping for months since starting this and was excited to find out my "new" size - including a pair of US size 6 pants :victory:

Bad news: gained 3 pounds in 72 hours eating all the wrong things :frown:. I know much of it is water weight, giant portions, etc. so not worried. Happy to be back on the 5:2 trail.

Good luck, fellow fasters :clover: :like: :clover:
Whew! Back to normal, fasting today and enjoying it, I have a nice quiet normal 5days ahead of me after almost 7weeks of excitement, holidays, visitors and birthdays. I had the sad task of adding 8lb to my tracker on Friday but when I weighed myself yesterday I had lost 4 of them I will wait until Friday to see what the story is then, I suppose 4lb over 7 weeks would not sound nearly as bad as 8lb. I try to stick to only protein on a Monday so am planning a chicken breast and an omelet for dinner tonight, not very exciting but it is only once a week. Happy repairing to one and all :clover:
Yes I'm in today half way through having walked around town for 2 hours and delivered 3 bags of clothes to charity
I'm now off for a real walk through the fields on my riverside walk back home, before a long soak and pamper session, then onto preparing my beef + veggies meal. :clover: :clover:

Well done @Nessie that's brilliant for 7wks :like:
I gained more that that in one week holiday earlier in year.
I'm in, not had anything yet just 2 coffees. Off for a swim soon and then my walk, I promise @Sue.Q
In today in a great mood--this morning I ran a mile without stopping for what may well be the first time in my life, even in school. So much of how a fast goes is mental, so starting off the day with a small victory has put me in a great place. Big cozy cup of tea kind of morning here.

Happy repair, all!
