Yes I am here also. Last fast before taking a week off when have to stay with elderly rellie. Things have slowed down in last few weeks with hardly any change. This is week 12 for me. I cheered myself up by looking at the weekly stats. I am actually losing a 'normal' amount of lb a week. So poor results for July are balanced by good start in early weeks. Must try harder! it is depressing to see no progress downward despite what I consider to be a good effort :(
Hanging in here. Woke up pretty heavy, thanks to yesterday's big Chinese lunch which was on top of the previous day's Thai lunch. But oddly, my waist measurement was down a tiny bit.

But I am starting to think that the summer warmth is also causing a bit of water retention, as I have been seeing far more water bouncing since it got warm.

Anyway, I'll keep on chipping away at the fasts, even though the scale has been uncooperative this month. I am fasting like usual, and eating pretty much like usual so some slow weight loss should be taking place underneath all that water weight fluctuation.
Count me in today. Cant wait for dinner at 7. Good luck all those fasting today.
Mr W and I are in today. It's been quite a tough one for me but the end is in sight. No dinner until he gets home, so about 8:20 pm by the time we sit down :starving: Pork steaks with veggies for me, added new potatoes for him. Both have a cheese or other treats allowance left over :like:
What are wasa crispbreads - are they low carb and if so, can I buy them in UK?

I'm in today. Not done a proper fast for ages as I've been maintaining on 16:8 and low carb for a while. However the last few weeks of term are just so stressful and busy and I have an essay to resubmit so I haven't been doing very well recently. Anyhow successful fast today, aided by husband putting a coat of polish on the pantry floor so I'm not allowed in there! I'm hoping that I will quickly drop the pound or two that I've managed to gain :)
Wasa crispbreads are Scandinavian crackers. I don't know if you can buy them in the UK. They come in a lot of varieties. One of the Rye versions they used to sell in the supermarket where I shop was fairly low carb. But they stopped selling it. The other varieties can be pretty carby.

Ryvita is very similar and quite low carb.

The very lowest cracker that works best for low carb eating is marketed as GG brand or Branacrisp. It is almost all bran and looks just like the crackers you buy at the zoo to feed the llamas. Not recommended if you have colon issues, due to the high bran content. Otherwise, a decent low carb bread substitute.
Crisp breads are ryvita type biscuits -there will be other low calorie savoury things in the same area I expect-not something I ever buy.
I'm in today; late afternoon here, busyness keeping my mind off food, good! Had my afternoon cuppa broth, pot of green tea earlier, green/mint tea now...looking forward to yogurt snack before running errands...
Thanks for your replies. Just now and again I like something to crunch on, particularly with a dippy egg! In the meantime, Fibre Thins will do!
