Happy Bastille day! And good morning. A cold one here. Just glugging down a black coffee prior to taking my car to East Devonport to have its windscreen fixed. There is a leak. We had it fixed before but now it is worse. Car gone for 2 days. I'm going to walk across the river to yoga. It's about an hour's walk, but that's a guess because I've never done it before. Got to get all rugged up with beanie, gloves, scarf. It's clear and sunny but there is that frosty feel to the air. My friend, Julie, will drive me home after yoga. Feeling quite slim today, especially in my body hugging yoga pants. Have a good day everyone.
Hi Sallyo - thanks for leading us out, I'm fasting in the morning. That sounds like a lovely way to start the week, a walk and yoga. Work for me, meetings till 9pm and then a light supper of egg salad. Night night.

Good fasting everyone
I'm starting my Monday fast, now, at 7 PM and will eat nothing until about 5:30 PM tomorrow.

I had yet another Chinese meal today, so I will be all puffed up with salt, yet again, but hopefully, under all that water, fat is slowly making its way out of my body.
I'm on fasting today too. Bit frosty and cold, hot cup of tea can fix anything.
Bulk up my soup with lots of mushrooms, helps with hunger, but that is hours aways.
Have a great day.
Good morning everyone and Happy Bastille day to you too @Sallyo. I was at a birthday party most of the day yesterday. The food was ok but oh the drink, my excuse being we were sitting outside and I needed the red wine to warm me up :
I didn't get on the scales this morning as that would just rub salt in the wound

Here's to a good fast for all.
I will be joining you when I wake up. I've had a solid week of not stressing about anything, so no fasting, no strenuous exercise, asking the lads nicely to do things (it freaked them out so much they even shampoo'd the carpets!) and getting lots of hugs off everybody. I have put on about 2lb but believe it to be mostly water as my ankles are puffy (though the big bag of American Hardgums hasn't helped).

So see you tomorrow sometime.
I'm in today. Freezing cold, but I've gymed and walked the dog already. Thanks to the World Cup Final being an hour earlier. Hoping this motivation can continue, I'm really battling with the cold making me unmotivated and just want to hibernate and eat lots.
I'm with you all today as well. Not in the best mood, as school has now started again, and that first early morning is hard work during winter...it's dark and it's cold

Anyway, enough moaning! I was sure ready to fast today...had a few friends and neighbours over for drinks and nibbles Sat evening, and my weight spiked a whole kg the following morning! I celebrated/commiserated the end of holidays yesterday by snuggling up under a quilt and binge-watching all 6 episodes of BBC's Pride and Prejudice...and indulging in lunch/snack/treat at the start of each episode. I cut back on dinner a bit to compensate, so it wasn't a real blow-out, but I am loving the feeling of relaxing the digestive system and taking a break from food for a while.

The good news is that the weight spike after drinkies the other day has passed surprisingly quickly, and I'm back down again this morning...so don't worry to much about your party day, @Wineoclock

Have a great day you fasters, and may the fast be with you!
I am with you all too. A quiet day here as is bank holiday being the country where Bastille day began! Not sure happy Bastille day is right being what it started but that is a bit deep on an empty stomach!
Had a lovely week last week, lots of reflection finishing with a few days in Paris visiting friends. I have eaten lightly in preparation for getting back on the wagon. Feeling tired but strong just now!
So, today I fast!
Joyeux Quatorze Juillet to all revolutionaries and bonne chance to fellow fasters.

Today is my second fast in three days, aiming to to 4:3 this week to help shed a few kgs of Crete I brought home with me and to make up for what I know will be a calorific birthday bash tomorrow night. Just about managed to stay within 1500 yesterday as well, after ultra low cal brekky with only two Wasa crispbreads (I could have eaten the packet), cauli cheese, new potatoes and gigantic heap of broccoli in the evening, but two large glasses of Chardonnay enjoying the sunshine at Weymouth Harbour. The star of today's fast menu will be a new burger I made yesterday: aubergine, tomato, goats cheese, chickpea, quinoa and spices, mainly chilli and garlic. They are 100 cals each, so I'll have one in a Warburtons Thin (also 100 cals) for lunch, and one with asparagus and tenderstem broccoli tonight. Not sure yet what to have with the spare 150 calories - maybe un oeuf.
I have a Bastille Day BBQ later today. I really want to stick to my 500 calories, so this will take some careful planning and will power.
I'm in today, hopefully I can manage a 4:3 week this week....Last week on Friday I blew my fast because I was very upset over something, and went out drinking and eating crap food. I shall behave this week :) good luck everyone
