Fasting today Monday, 15th June
15 Jun 2015, 00:53
Late start to the thread today. I'm fasting. So far, nearly 11am , coffee only. Perhaps I will have an apple soon. Exciting day here as the big windows in the front of the house are removed and replaced with double glazed ones. The lounge room window has gone and the new frames are up, waiting for the glaziers to come and put the glass in. Meanwhile, it's cold. I hope I can hang in with the fast. I must say I'm not feeling very strong. I'll do it moment by moment, hour by hour. Perhaps an apple is the go.
Hi, I'm in today after an indulgent weekend. Didn't overeat but definitely overindulged in the old vino! Super busy day at work makes fasting easy. One cup of tea and a black coffee so far (plus LOADS of water). Will have a couple of herbal teas this afternoon then nothing until chicken wrapped in prosciutto with sweet potato mash and asparagus for dinner. OH away tonight so I can eat as soon as I get in from work which I find much easier than waiting for him. Happy Monday Fasting everyone!
Very quiet here today. I am coping. I had an apple and looked in the Food section and found a good 100 cals recipe for leek and apple soup which I made for the builders, the OH and me. They got toast. It was really nice. Now I have about 400 calories, minus an apple, to play with tonight for dinner. Omelet. I'll go for a walk down the shop and see if I can get some mushrooms to have with cauliflower. Good to get out of the house and go for a walk to take my mind off food.
I'm in. Vege and ricotta fritata for dinner. Prawn and vege soup for lunch. Well done Sally.
I'm in today. Chicken boullion and chicken salad. Dinner party last night, party this Wednesday, dinner party Thursday and Saturday. Must be very strict in between, weight has crept up a kilo  good luck with the windows @Sallyo, hang on in there, you'll be so snug when they are finished
I've been fasting today with only coffee, herbal tea and water but will 'break' it by 7pm because I made beef bourguignon last night. For some reason (too much bread, cheese, wine, pudding and ice cream) the scales showed I had gone above my upper range so I had to start a fast. :( I'm wearing a big wooden jumper as I always get cold on fast days, even though I sit inside an office where no one else has that problem. I will only have broccoli with the casserole, no potatoes or red wine, and a smaller serve. Boohoo.
I'm in for my usual Monday fast .. I feel like I have had yet another bad weekend ... I dont know what is up with me at the moment , I think I need to go and set up residence in the Wobbly Tent ...
I' m in today !!
I ate to much this week end, but my weight still the same...pfiouuuu
Motivation : ON
Mondays are always busy, so hopefully the day will fly !

Have a good day...I will post an update tonight !
I'm in today - first of this week's Summer Challenge fastdays & it could well be I'll be down at a new lowest weight tomorrow morning. I don't really enjoy fasting but I love the results on the scales!
Yup I'm in, only had boiled egg for breakfast and two tiny apricots. For dinner something HB....
But dang this is hard, but stomach is protesting greatly :(
In!

Yesterday I hosted an 'afternoon tea' hen thing for my friend who's getting married in a few weeks.

WAY too many goodies... tried to restrict myself, but still managed to eat more than I probably should have. Hopefully the fast today will prove helpful.

Thinking a ham and bean soup for tonight. Even though it's summer here, it's still chilly... wish it felt like salad weather! :(
I'm in. Might have egg and ham salad for dinner. Made burgers for tomorrow using the Hairy bikers recipe ( which a tweak a bit to our tastes). Just showed my eldest how to make them . He needs to learn some life skills now his GCSE 's are nearly over last one tomorrow. Then we have two years to help him become self sufficent if he decides to go to uni.
I'm in today. Nothing but black tea so far and it will stay that way until supper tonight! I hit the Doritos last night, after a couple of glasses of wine, so my weight has gone from 146.3 pounds yesterday morning to 147.8 pounds today! I know that this is only temporary but there's something about the Monday fast which I enjoy and it won't do my maintenance any harm either!
:clover: Good luck to those fasting today. :clover: Onwards and downwards!
I'm in today. It's lunch time so I'm off for a walk ............
Lots of sparking water - ending the day with fish and salad and two apricots.
Happy fasting everyone. :clover:
See you later.
I am in today for only the second times in the last 3 months. I didn't plan to do it today but I felt like it so here..
Pretty easy day, which is a relief, had water and a coffee with a splash of milk in a beautiful cup and will have a leek and prawns soup tonight.

Good luck to everyone on board today :clover:
