Morning all...another week of ADF begins for me. I need it after yesterday's food fest. We were at Radio 2s live in Hyde Park, Chrissie Hynde, Blondie, Paloma Faith and ELO to name a few. Still buzzing now. But back to normality, no idea what we shall be eating tonight, I guess I'll decide at the supermarket!
Happy fasting peeps x
I'm in also today as usual.
Just reporting in before I prepare dinner for my 2 menfolk who are home... Had a miso soup late lunchtime and still trying to keep to a basically liquid fast...

Also wanted to mention that it has only been when doing the liquid fasts that I have noticed feeling cold - as so many others report for fast days. Not sure why this should be any different, because in recent times I used to just have food in the evening on fast days. Maybe it is just because it actually is cold!
Me too today, first this month after a break to change things a bit.
All the way to 7pm I hope ... :0,
I'm in today. We went out for dinner yesterday with my grandparents. I have already jogged for 25 minutes today. Looking forward to egg and ham salad for dinner later.
I'm back today after a long break. Looking forward to my evening meal. I really enjoy fasting and the good feeling eating breakfast tomorrow! My only problem was headaches so any tips please let me know. Colder here today. Autumn is definitely on us now.
I'm in for the first time in a long long time .
Well by some miracle I am in too! Going well so far and planning egg salad tonight. Slowly does it.
Hi, I am also fasting today Monday 15th September (and Thursday). I have just moved from 4:3 to 5:2 as I am maintaining (again).

I started fasting the first time after the Horizon programme was screened in 2012 and managed to reach my goal by Christmas. Found it difficult to get back after the festivities due to extreme cold (I am feeling cold anyway) and started fasting again in the summer of 2013 to lose the weight I had put on (about 5-6lbs). Same happened last winter and same this summer.

However this winter I am planning to keep up the fasting with 5:2 and reasonably low carb and a bit of indulgence at the weekend. I don't want to repeat this pattern of gaining in winter and losing in the summer. Losing is so much harder than maintaining why am I doing this to myself?

Also I have my daughter's wedding coming up next spring so gaining this winter is not an option and should keep me straight.

At the moment the weather is still mild here in England so I am wondering how I will cope when it gets cold. Hey ho, I am optimistic and motivated and getting into my vegetable soups already - I am pinning my hope on them and on using this site a bit more in order to stay motivated and disciplined.
Cold here this morning. 65 F in the house. But I REFUSE to put on the heat in September! Not with what oil is costing here, and besides, it just seems so wrong. So I'm wearing a lot of clothes, and I noticed that my blood pressure has gone high again. It does that when it's cold. I wish I could stand living in one of the places in the US that is always warm, but I can't. <sigh>
I am always cold on fast days. I feel like I have been hit by a train today. Toddler is sick so we were up most of the night. Old me would be diving for the choccy and bickies and coffee to keep me going. Its just lunchtime and I want to go to bed. :sleepy:
I might indulge in a couple of egg whites for lunch.
I'm in! Mondays fast was a good one. For lunch I ordered an egg salad from the school canteen. It was nice and probably about 120 calories if that. I'll do that again next fast day.
Off to bed now.
:sleepy:
I'm in. Very hectic at work and only now got round to signing in.

Can't believe it's after 1pm already. Anyway gotta go

Good luck to all :clover:
Off to bed soon. Good wishes to those still fasting.
I'm in today as well for my usual liquid fast. I'm interested in how cold everyone gets. I suffer badly as well and feel cold today, my feet often feel very painful from the cold. I think over the next couple of weeks I might change my fasting days from Mon & Thurs which are my days off to Tues & Fri when I'm working. I am always busy at work so I wouldn't notice the cold. I also only get a 20 minute break so I don't think anyone would notice if I just had a cuppa and nothing to eat.
