Happy fasting peeps x
Also wanted to mention that it has only been when doing the liquid fasts that I have noticed feeling cold - as so many others report for fast days. Not sure why this should be any different, because in recent times I used to just have food in the evening on fast days. Maybe it is just because it actually is cold!
All the way to 7pm I hope ... :0,
I started fasting the first time after the Horizon programme was screened in 2012 and managed to reach my goal by Christmas. Found it difficult to get back after the festivities due to extreme cold (I am feeling cold anyway) and started fasting again in the summer of 2013 to lose the weight I had put on (about 5-6lbs). Same happened last winter and same this summer.
However this winter I am planning to keep up the fasting with 5:2 and reasonably low carb and a bit of indulgence at the weekend. I don't want to repeat this pattern of gaining in winter and losing in the summer. Losing is so much harder than maintaining why am I doing this to myself?
Also I have my daughter's wedding coming up next spring so gaining this winter is not an option and should keep me straight.
At the moment the weather is still mild here in England so I am wondering how I will cope when it gets cold. Hey ho, I am optimistic and motivated and getting into my vegetable soups already - I am pinning my hope on them and on using this site a bit more in order to stay motivated and disciplined.
I might indulge in a couple of egg whites for lunch.
Off to bed now.
Can't believe it's after 1pm already. Anyway gotta go
Good luck to all
