Well lets get the week started. Spring has sprung here .
As I mentioned in chatterbox Candy, Hubby surprised me yesterday with tickets to see Andrea Bocelli tomorrow night. Still buzzing, cant wait.
Great fasting everyone.
I'm in for my first fast of the week. Looks like rain so I suppose I'll have to stay inside and do the ironing. :frown:
I'm in too. Well, I will be when I wake up!
@Wineoclock, enjoy the concert. @Chook, enjoy the ironing!
I'm in after sleeping. Different day for me, travelling up north early tomorrow to spend 3 days with my elderly parents while sis is on holiday in Spain. I'm aiming for 16:8, light lunch and dinner and mixing in work as I can fit it - no stress! Good luck you fasters, fast for me - he, he
I have started my fast day with a cup of tea. I had a heavy weekend with a 1.5 kgs over my GW today. I hope to shake it off this week. Despite the rain today I am going for a good walk with a brolly :clover: .
No rain in north Tassie. Bright blue sunny day and I have a day in the garden in my sights. It's minestrone soup for dinner. Have a good one everyone.
Spring for you, fall for me. I brought in a bunch of potted plants after dinner as the temperature will be dipping into the 30s F tonight (1.7 C). We had such a cold summer I expect an early frost. The house was in the high 60s all day (19 C) so we took out the window air conditioner, too. Our house is always cold on the winter. I remember how cold I was during fasts last year, too.

I have less fat to keep me warm this year. Better stock up on some nice sweaters!

Started my fast for tomorrow after dinner, once again we ate like kings this week end, but I am feeling so skinny! Have d to believe I can be eating all the delicious food I've been eating and be so thin. This week I baked a half batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies from the Joy of Cooking. They were amazingly good.
Hi everyone, am trying for another liquid fast today. :) will be a struggle cos I had a very late night and not much sleep, so don't have much energy to do anything that keeps me occupied. I did have quite a few carbs yesterday (yummy pastries) so that is probably making things harder too. I do have to do a technical edit on my son's essay; don't feel like doing that at all...

Had coffee with a friend this morning, that filled in a bit of time...

Best wishes to all fasting today.
I'm in with you all today! Made a batch of yoghurt yesterday, so have just enjoyed a little with some strawberries to get me through til dinner. I tried a different yoghurt this time - a low fat natural greek style...sadly not as good as the whole fat one :frown: I think I've decided I'd rather have less of something that's really yummy than more of something that's only okay...

Ah well, yummy fish to look forward to for dinner - that I know is going to be good! Salmon, YUM!!

Good luck all (and especially @Sassy1 with your liquid fast) and may the fast be with you!
[tag][PeonyBlue/tag]Yes, I agree. Much better to have less of something yummy than feel unsatisfied with something that doesn't quite cut it. Any way, I thought 'low fat' was unhealthy now. Less processed is best.
Hi everyone in fasting land!
@Winoclock- I'm so jealous
Enjoy Andrea Bocelli.
I was back on Thursday from a week away in sunny country Victoria. Who knew Beechworth was so lovely!
Attended my nieces wedding- felt very good to be about 13kg lighter than at the last family wedding.
I've done my laps this morning, visited Mum, and now having a break and a small piece of toast with vegemite and an apple. Plus liquorice tea.
Last Friday I fasted and felt shocking- so headachy and sick, so decided to eat a little during the day today. I'll see how it goes.
Have a good week fellow fasters.
Sassy 1 invited me over here from the Aussie thread(thank you Sassy:)). This is my first Fast since returning after a long break. I have done well today and am looking forward to a nice chicken stir fry tonight!
Good morning fellow faster. I'm in today with a 16.8 and low carb. Let's get that purple pee back. @Peonyblue the light bulb moment when full fat is better is inspiring isn't it.
Morning All

I'm in want to do a liquid fast today, its really really hot now so hopefully won't be too challenging.
Good luck everyone.
