Hi everyone. Thought I'd start the fasting today post. I'm definitely in for a much needed fast!

Well, you and I are here anyway! :smile:
I've done my laps and now having a coffee with almond milk. I allow myself 2 until dinner time, otherwise it's herbal tea and water today.

Hi Monday fasters! Missing you today. I'm in Launceston, with the OH at the lung specialist. Decided to enjoy the offerings of a day in town and fast tomorrow. I wonder what to have for lunch.
Treat yrself and Hub to something tasty @sallyo x

My first fast day in about 12 months..... I forgot how cold I get!! After yo-yoing again for a few months I decided to suck it up and go back to 5:2.
I fell off the bandwagon after going on holidays this time last year. All going well so far. Thank goodness I'm busy at work!

I'm feeling decidedly meh today and am hoping a fast might help clear my cluttered head.

I enjoyed eating very light one fast day last week and having a large dinner in the evening so I am going to try the same today so I'll be having lemon in hot water during the day, an instant miso (22 calories) mid afternoon if I am flagging with the rest of my calories being spent on a big evening meal and some scrummy yummy fresh figs for afters!

I am in. Its 2pm and ive managed on 2 coffees with a dash of milk and a small thin slice of Jalsberg cheese.

feeling the rumblings which is a sign its doing some good. or thats what i say.
I'm in also, I've been struggling to stick to 500 on fast days and been eating too much sugar some non-fast days.

I decided to stage eating differently today as going directly from work to the gym and after that to a salsa lesson,

so thought I'd have 1/2 calories at 3pm so I wont be crabby for gym or dance class, and 1/2 after I get home around 8:30.
I'm in too. Have been having the same problems as nznicole - finding it hard to stick to the 500 cals and too much sugar on other days. I HAVE managed to avoid going way over my TDEE, which had been happening quite a lot, although I still exceed it (and my current challenge is not to exceed it...) :(

We head off for a month's holiday on Friday, so I am trying for 3 fast (light?) days in a week, and keeping the other days moderate. We'll see!!

Hi all, I'm joining @Sallyo and fasting tomorrow. I was in Sydney with hubby today and had a nice lunch at the Museum of Contemporary Art, watching the ferries come and go. If anyone is in Sydney anytime it's a lovely place to eat. (Apologies to those fasting today).
I'm in today. Looking forward to it after an indulgent weekend with friends. They are off this morning after a big fry up for breakfast :curse: I will be sticking to my coffee. Good luck fellow fasters.

Have woken up feeling bleurgh with a headache but hopefully it will pass once I get a hot drink.
