Hello all, I am fasting today too!

Very glad to return to 5:2 this week after a 4:3 last week which I found really hard. Have very much enjoyed two days of free eating over the weekend and had some drinks but didn't go crazy!

I am feeling really inspired today with my progress so far and that seems to be making it easier. Sending lots of motivation and happy thin thoughts to all my fellow fasters!
So glad to see so many of my 5:2 friends here today! :) :clover: for all! Of course I'm here! Now I just hold the tape measure at my highest waist and it shows me that this is working on my belly because now it's loose at that measurement! Hang in there everyone & thanks for the support. :victory:  :like:
Im in fasting would be impossible if not for Marks and Spencer!
First fast for 2 weeks. A bit light headed this afternoon so had a cereal bar. Just sorting tea out. Usually make it to tea on just fluids. Feels good to be back on track.Hope you are all having a good day. :)
I'm in today! Not sure what's for dinner yet, beyond asparagus...usually I have every calorie allocated and accounted for by now. Probably salmon or chicken breast. So far, so good. Hang in there, those still fasting...
I'm in today. Just started my 4th week. :-)
This day is almost over, and it wasn't too bad. :-)
Welcome Sylfer! Lucky you, your fast almost over, only 10:30am here for me. :)
Julieathome, so sorry for your cat. I have 2 and a half myself (long story), I understand what you must feel....

Am very surprised today was so easy. I have my Thai soup now and only had tea, coffee and water during the day so, I guess it's nearly a liquid fast. Only 260 calories today. :like:
... Can't believe I am delaying my evening meal to catch up on the forums!!! It's been a good day fast-wise, so off now to get my 'Free From' chicken hot pot sorted out ... Hope it was good for the rest of you too! :clover: :clover: :clover:
Evening All

just completed my fast with a large plate of salad and salmon - yummy!
Fast Monday and Thursday and basically have the same meal on both days: yoghurt and fruit for brekkie and salad plus chicken/salmon for dinner. Wondering whether I should try to eat more veggies as I haven't since I started this WOE.

I'm probably not getting as much fiber with salad as I would with veggies.

Love this WOE as I finally got into a HOBBS dress that I bought two years ago - so happy!

Laddies and Gents keep up the good work - we will receive our reward!
My OH & I have completed our usual fast today with an M&S fuller longer meal & a few blueberries & strawberries. I have just discovered coconut oil so we had a little of that as well
So sorry to read about your cat Julieathome they do become such a valued part of the family & it is distressing when they become unwell.
Count me in for today, I now I'm late in committing but been really busy today and hasn't been near a computer so could not join in. Only 1.5 hrs. till bedtime and only 500 cals today looking good till breakfast in the morning at 8am

Caught red handed....

Stung twice by a wasp on the dog walk tonight
It crawled in under my fleece - was quite surprised there's room now, for me and a wasp in there!

Sorry to hear about your cat, Julia. I do miss ours.
I am fasting today too. It went very well. Fast day no.9 and it's been the easiest yet. Tucking in to some homemade ratatouille with blueberries to follow. Hope you all had good days too x
Today has gone well for me, although struggling a little now, only had homemade veg soup and few strawberries, now considering a milky drink, although only an hour to bed, going to try and hold out I think
