Considering I've been solidly OFF the wagon for a couple of months, I'm fasting today with a vengeance. Feeling pretty good for 1pm.
I'm in today too, and looking forward to it.

Am just back from two week Med cruise (+3.3kg?), and on my way to the pool to carry on training for 5km Swimathon challenge next week. Really looking forward to improving my diet after fatty food and too much wine. Kicked off with muesli this morning, to be followed by Five Veg Risotto later. Might be 750 cals in the end but still an improvement.
*bounces onto thread* i'm in too today, hopefully i'll last since the hunger is hitting me big time and it's only 8:15 am here, planning on slim a soup for lunch and not decided on dinner yet, might be some thing with chicken, but holy gravy, I really want to stuff my face in Sofias Easter eggs!...must...not..give in!
I'm in, feeling really bloated and horrible after a week with two birthdays and Easter, couldn't sleep last night as my tummy felt like lead!! There's lots of food all over the kitchen, must be strong and ignore it. Have a good fast everyone. X
It's the usual Monday fast for me. Planning on liquid only but if I get hungry then it will be scrambled eggs or some cheese but absolutely NO carbs. There is also some left over roast chicken in the fridge so I should have no problems, good luck everybody,

Ballerina x
Lovely to see you [tag]MelbMandy[/tag.

I have had a great day today and feel like I am back to the 2 Fast days per week, and doing the 16/8 the rest of the time.

Chicken and Roasted vegetables for the evening meal tonight, and I have been on the wii fit, and done some meditation and been for a 30 min walk in the sunshine, life is good and I intend to make it stay that way as best I can.

cheers
Maggie
Me too - hard when every surface I look at seems to have chocolate,on it! I know I'll feel better if I fast today though and I've already been for a run so feeling pretty virtuous at the moment!
Yes I'm in willingly today after a food filled weekend
Turkey + veggies for me tonight, now I'm off for a walk

 Well done @Maggiee you're sounding really motivated again. Good luck Monday fasters. :clover: :clover: :clover:
I just had the worst fast tea meal ever. Chunky chicken condensed soup that has bits of potato and pasta and slim noodles, ewgh. Even the hunger didn't have me interested. Wont be doing that meal again. :curse:
I'm in. Third fast since I re-started. I am aiming for coffee and tea all day and then a meal this evening. Good luck everyone :)
thanks lovely @Sue.Q - I did rather break out and have too many hot cross buns over the last four days, but what the heck, I am back in the focus again, with a different attitude as well.

No more labeling foods good or bad, or healthy and unhealthy, I have discovered a new way of eating, and will see how this goes, still with doing two fast days per week, 16/8 the rest of the days, and still keeping an eye on the sugar and carbs, and definitely stepping up the exercise.

Enjoy your Fast Day everybody, and take care.

cheers
Maggie
I'm in too. It's rather different from how I used to have a day off at home. "Before" that would mean low activity and loads of chocolate, cakes and white bread etc.
It's scary how that pattern is so deeply rooted - Not eating makes me a bit restless - So today I'm looking for other ways to spoil myself and create a wonderful day without it being about food all the time.
Sounds as though we all NEED a fast rather than want to!!

I was relieved this morning. I thought I might have put in 4 pound after yesterday's reacquaittance with chocolate (went to bed feeling a bit on the yucky side :( ) . Actually I don't think I ate that much...a couple of Creme eggs, two little hollow chicks and a few chocolate hearts. I've discovered that, actually, I prefer savoury food...but it's good to have chocolate when I fancy it!

Anyway, good luck today everyone! Although I think today's fast may be easier, especially if you've eaten as much as I have

Bean :starving:
I think I might just join you all, seeing as it's Monday.
Oh it's good to see you Oatesy!

Bean xx
