Who's in today?

I'm feeling the after-effects of potato crisps and fizzy drink at the movies, so I'm more than ready for today - yoghurt and strawberries to break my fast when I need them, then leftover steak and kidney with some veg tonight...looking forward to that, even though I've had it the last two nights! (One of my favourite winter comfort foods)

What's your plan for today, fasters?
I will be quite happy to fast when it is Monday, here. We tried a new Pizza place today. The pizza was the wonderful Greek style pizza we hadn't eaten in years. (I don't know if you can find that kind of Pizza outside of New England. It has a solid .5 cm thick coating of flavorful cheese that is some kind of mixture of mozarella and something else, perhaps feta and or cheddar, a crispy, light fried tasting crust, and a sauce without oregano. Mmmmmm!

But as the place was new to us, we ordered what turned out to be a much bigger pizza than we expected, and it was so good we ate it all except for leaving a bunch of crust to avoid those carbs. Zillions of calories no doubt. But it was delicious, and it is so nice to be able to enjoy a treat like that while having made a 11 lb weight loss since late February.
I' m in once ive been to sleep !
Hope it's a good easy day for everyone..great way to start a new week putting our bodies in for repair x x x :like:
Have a grrrrrroooooovy day fellow fasters ! X
:clover: Happy fasting everyone, :clover: I'll be with you when morning arrives.
I'm in, in freezing Melbourne!
Haven't been to the forum for a while, been a bit slack, I was quite ill for a couple of weeks mid June, and then I went back on a whirlwind trip to the UK, and just couldn't fit it in!
Back in the game today, although it's my birthday on Wednesday, so work celebrations tomorrow and Thursday, friends celebrations Wednesday and Saturday, and OH meal on Friday, so may only be able to fit in one fast this week, which is a shame, because I'm feeling quite motivated at the moment!
Nothing to eat all day until chicken with steamed veg later - already looking forward to it!
Good luck all
Wow @kelkelkelster, I am tired just reading about what you have been up to! Have you thought about doing a few "eating windows" on the days you have meal events on?

I am in for my first of three fasts this week. I still have to have my weigh in in the morning, but I know there will be some damage after my holiday. Oh well, it was in the plan, and I enjoyed every bite! I did 16:8 each day so, although I didnt fast, in some ways it felt like I was fasting daily. Sitting by the breakfast buffet watching the kids tuck in was really hard. :frown:
I'm in. Gym (weights) this morning, 10 almonds for protein, dog walk, and now a cuppa and time to study. Will be just occasional cup of tea and loads of water until breakfast tomorrow. Mondays always my easiest fasts, and it's a lovely sunny day and we didn't even have frost this morning, so I"m feeling way happier than I have for the past few weeks.
I'm in as well. I'm in the middle of a cold. Not at all upset to sleep in to about 9am. Spent an hour in the garden even though it was only about 5degs. Happily sipping low cal tomato soup and that will be it till 6.30.
Feel better soon, Chook.

I'm in as well. It's a holiday here in Japan, but I'm at work feeling guilty for being unproductive last week. I did go for a 10k run this morning though, so I'm feeling virtuous about that at least.

Good luck Monday fasters!
I'm in too. Not had the best of weekends but I'm on holiday from Wednesday so that's keeping my spirits up. Just water and peppermint tea for me until dinner at 7pm. Have a good fast day Monday fasters. :like:
20 hour fast in progress, though I feel like I have to cut it short. The weather is so nice that I'm almost certain I'm going out to have a barbecue with some friends.

Weight management and fasting benefits are great and all, but I don't feel like they should run my life. If I want to go get a nice crispy steak and some beer in the sun, I'm gonna do it.
Hi everyone. I'm in, posting late. I also slept in after being away in Hobart for the weekend. Got to Yoga just in time. I've had milk coffee - OH forgot i was fasting and made me the usual breakfast coffee - and 2 cups of liquorice tea. Chicken noodle soup for dinner. I have been cooking it during the day so it'll be ready to scoff at 6pm, which isn't all that far away. Just go up into the garden and pick some parsley before it gets even colder.
I'm in and almost done. It's strange to be posting a fast day that is almost over. But that's how it is when you live upside down.

Happy fasting everyone!
I'm in today. For the next 5-6 months I'll be living in the northern hemisphere, in an apartment without scales, and all kinds of tempting foods on offer. This could be my biggest challenge.
I'm in today. I've got to eat earlier tonight that I would like due to my sugar raft club running tonight, but will save some calories for a late supper.
