I'm ready for a fast day after the weekend. Who's in with me?
xxx julianna
More than ready thanks @julianna. The weather is a bit of a let down after such a nice weekend!!
Happy Fasting
Thanks @Wineoclock. How was your holiday? Wonderful, I bet!
Holiday was amazing @julianna. Weight gain was also amazing
Another typhoon, another fast day.

Good luck, everyone!
I'm in, first fast in ages. Put our last summer guests on the TGV at Avignon yesterday, so no more excuses :starving: happy fasting everyone
I'm in!
I'm at work after one week vacation, so you can imagine my mood :)
The plan is tea, ginger tea, and coffee. I bought the instant miso soup which is recommended on this forum, so maybe I will try it too (30 cals in one packet).
For dinner I will have eggplants with tomato sauce.
I'm in .... sparkling water and miso soup - then chicken salad for dinner.
:clover:
I'm joining you today so black tea until dinner this evening, which will involve chicken! Good luck everyone!
Monday - Fasting :starving: - Horrible weather - Working from home... HELP !!!!!!
Being a novice at this... what is that miso soup you keep talking about??

Hello @BookishCat (lovely nick btw!) :)
Welcome to the forum, I'm quite a newbie too. Good luck with your fast.

Miso soup is a soup made from fermented soya and brown rice with sea vegetable, for example: http://www.clearspring.co.uk/products/o ... vegetables
It's low cal and it helps with salt deficiency during the fast day and headaches and dizziness which can be result of this deficiency.
I'm out of fizzy water and I can't go out to get any because of the typhoon. :-(

Still, it's 7pm so I don't have to make it much longer.

Try lemon and ginger ice tea, with a few leaves of mint... works as a replacement for me ! Above all, stay indoors! :D

Ohh, I see, I thought it was a particular brand or something - sounds lovely and will definitely give this a go, as keeping all the calories for night-time is still hard! Thank you!! :D
First fast in quite a while, so I am struggling. I have been using eating windows but have become more and more lax with watching my intake, hence a bit of gain, smallish but it's time to nip it in the bud. Trying to save my calories for dinner but I'm HUNGRY!!
