just had some miso soup as I was feeling weak and ravenous.
Yes, I'm here too.
@Sallyo So glad your scarf turned up- I hate it when you lose special things!
Must be find-it day as I was shopping and tried on a top, realised I'd lost my Murano glass earing when I arrived home! I rang the shop( thanks Just Jeans) and they had it there for me! YAY

I was away last Monday in Brisbane so missed my fast, but back to it today.
I must admit that when I've had a break from sensible eating I still find it hard to get back to it- even after 14months of 5:2. The fast is ok, just the rest of the week!
Have a good fast everyone.

me too. looking forward to today - lots planned to keep my mind off it :)
I'm in sort of. Hubby's in Singapore for a week so when he travels I've decided to experiment. I will have a small eating window each day ( between 3-5 hours) and not count calories but just really listen to what my body is telling me it needs. I'll let you know how I go. Its nearly 5 pm and I feel physically hungry for the first time today.
I've been having to make myself slow down as I discovered a blot clot in my leg on Thursday and now I have to give my tummy an injection of a blood thinner twice a day. I'm worried about teaching on Thursday and Friday as my leg is sore from shopping. I'll just have to sit down as much as I can. Xx
Monday is my usual fasting day, but I've got my mum staying, it's a Bank Holiday here and I think I'll be a real party pooper if I'm fasting. So I think I'll have to wait until Wednesday, but I was a real piggy yesterday :( Hope you all get through without too many grumbling bellies!
Yes I'm in today for my first of 4:3 always a willing fast
on a Monday. Good luck to all fasting today :clover:
I am in-although plans might change as it is a Bank Holiday-it depends on the weather!

Wo @Julianna you are very calm and matter of fact about this DVT. Take it easy luv, it's very serious. Maybe you shouldn't be at work, to be perfectly honest, you wouldn't be here in Uk?
Regarding your fasting, take it easy on yourself if you are having to inject anticoagulants . I'm going to tag @carorees here and @Moogie, as I'm sure they'd like to know what you're going through.
As a seasoned faster, I know you will listen to your body , and that an eating window may be the best method at the moment.

Hope all goes well with everything.

PS I'm also fasting today. Glad to as well.
Yes take care @julianna and do take it easy. Give yourself some downtime especially if you are tired :clover:
I'm in. Trying something a bit different this week, with another diet - hoping to detox and get the weight down! Best of luck, everyone xx
I'm in. Sticking to Monday fast even though it's a holiday here in the UK as I find I lose focus moving fast days around. Fizzy water to hand. Good luck everyone. :clover:
I teared up when I read your post @carieoates. Its so nice to feel cared about from your friends across the world. This clot is not a DVT but more superficial. I am a varicose veiny person and I have a clotting disorder called anticardiprin antibodies ( it can affect pregnant women with multiple miscarriages or small birth weight babies and the preventative treatment is low dose aspirin). This clot is below the knee and hard and painful but the ultrasound showed I had a partial blockage in the vein in my upper thigh and my doc said this was the one that is a worry as its close to the main vein. The injection is clexane and the only reason I have to do it twice is so it was on the pbs and reduced cost. I apologize for this on your fasting thread but I think I may have contributed to putting you all off your food
Xxx julianna
@Julianna, hope you're ok.

@Sallyo and @Gigi55, very pleased you've had precious items finding you today.

Reporting in for today's fast very late in the day (again). Enjoying some pea and ham soup as I catch up on what you've all been up to today.

Well done those who've made it through and all the best to those just kicking off their fast for the day!

 :clover:
I'm in today, this will be the second fast of my first 4:3.

I woke up dreaming of food, but I'm determined to get through till dinnertime :)

I went out yesterday and stocked up on some bouillon (see what I did there ;) ) and some other bits that should help fast days go a little easier.

Good luck everyone :)
@julianna as everyone says take care of yourself please.
I'm in today, I need to purge sugary carbs from my body; overdosed on them yesterday when hubby and I went out on his boat. No where to park trailer and then he got cross with the engine that he has just rebuilt so I took it out on the cake and biscuits  Mind you my run went well this morning probably fuelled by the carbs. Good luck everyone x
