I've been away for a bit to really get the low carb WOE under my belt. My intention was always to reintroduce fasting once I am used to the low carbing, so here I am.
I haven't lost any weight through the low carbing - but this could be because I've been exercising often. So hoping I can bring back some luck with fasting again. I also love how I feel when I'm fasting - much better.
Any tips on low carbing and fasting much appreciated!

Hi there and welcome back to fasting@Kelkelkelster

I would suggest you participate in the Low carbers tent here..
fastonbury-glamping-grounds-f34/2014-low-carbers-tent-t10527.html?hilit=low%20carbers%20tent
Plenty of advice and support in that tent
I am having a miso soup as I catch up with today's fasters and other posts. I am headachy today, very unusual for me - may well be due to all the thunder activity and a very disturbed night. Rain has more or less gone now, just took the dogs for their deferred walk. Even some sun glinting thru.
Gigi, hope you fully recover soon. :)
Good to see JulianaR here and kelkelkelster back. :)
Best wishes all :D
I decided to have lunch today. I had scrambled egg on spinach. No toast. I hope it will help me get through the afternoon more comfortably. I won't have any potatoes for dinner - just abalone and vegetables. Back to the knitting project. Sun has just come out. Carrots came up in the rain.
Blowing a gale here now, hope you are ok @Julianna. I left my very high louvre windows open when I went to work. Not such a great idea as I came home to a gardens worth of leaf and plant litter strewn down the hall and in the family room.
Well the mess has distracted me from being hungry
Hi all, I'm in and anticipating dinner, it's 4.15pm already. So far it's been a good fast day. However, I would love a glass of red with dinner...not going to do it though; staying true to the fast.

Fast, fast, fast and go low, low, low!
I'm in! Listening to the wind whistling round the house, feeling very autumnal.
Only 6.28am here... Why do I wake up early on a fast day??!
Morning everyone from a wild and wet central Scotland!
Very tired today after a busy weekend at work. Day off will be spent quietly in the house apart from the school run.
A bit disappointed at my slow weight loss but determined to keep going this time.
Will keep my calories for dinner tonight apart from milk in coffee.
Happy Monday everyone........ x
Hi
Well I'm well and truly back on the fasting wagon today - weight has crept up to the highest it's been in months because I've lost motivation and focus so doing 4:3 this week and maybe next. My goal is half a stone by Xmas but I lose very slowly with being fairly short and small framed so if I can get rid of 4 or 5 lbs I'll be ok with that
Good luck to all of us today x
Hi all
I'm in today. Feeling pretty bloated and sore due to TOTM imminence, and also I ate quite a lot of pizza & cake over the weekend, so not expecting today to be easy, or to log a weight loss this week. Did manage to run 3.5 miles yesterday morning though, first 'long' run in ages, so was pleased with that. I'm going to register for a half marathon next year, so must work on building up the distances.
Hope you all have good days, you lucky aussies are nearly done but I feel lucky too, to be in beautiful autumnal Britain, where it's fresh and crisp and the colours are gorgeous. Looks like it's going to be wild in Scotland today tho!

Hello all Im in. Also on half term hols so home fasting. Sometimes it's easy sometimes not.
Also redecorating daughters bedroom so busy busy busy. Catch you all later.
I'm in .. my first day fasting in the office !
It's the most beautiful autumn day here in Surrey .. such a shame I'm at work...

Large black coffee on my desk and a hot water with a splash of apple cider vinegar ...am glad to be fasting today I feel like I ate the world yesterday but I didn't .. I ate about a third of a bag of cashew nuts with my innocent veg pot lunch and was so hit by the protein effect I ended up only having toast for dinner and this morning I still feel like I need to digest an elephant
It sounds beautiful where you are @greenmonster and @RedRobin.
@wineoclock the wind shook the house but luckily all is well.
@SallyO, I had lunch too. My dinner is usually 300 cals to fit in with hubs who has always had 3 meals on fast days. I usually just have dinner but ive always said I can go back to 2 or 3 meals if I need to ( especially as I don't have a hungry monster that gets woken) I was making kids lunches with some really good ham ( and I wanted some) and I'd been thinking non stop about the eggs from the chooks of my friend 3 doors down so I marched down there and asked do for 2 eggs (1 for tomorrow) and fried the ham and egg in a bit of butter and it was a delicious 200 calories well spent. After that I felt great and sailed through the day.
Xxx julianna
Good morning

I am in as well.
Have a good day all you fasters just beginning. I'm off to bed. Can't wait for breakfast!
Belated report in for one of my usual 4:3 fast days. OK so far and on track for a reasonable FD.

Good Luck to fellow fasters with many more hours to go. :) :clover:
