I've just assembled my Vegetarian moussaka to cook in about an hour, and I've made a salad to go with it. Its sparkling water until then.

Enjoy your dinner, I know I will!
Anyway… today I am trying to not nibble too much as I have been doing on fast days. It was happening when I hadn't really planned dinner. Today I have about 300cals reserved for dinner, so I need to behave. I'm about to have a miso soup now. It's 3pm in Japan.
That's great news about the job @Sallyo !
Nice to see you @Gigi55 I always notice how much swimming you do, although I live only quarter of a mile away from the sea I haven't been swimming for years. I hope that your eye problem is being resolved.
Congrats @sallyo - sounds like you've earned it! Happy retirement!
Im pretty happy as i just completed my first fast day in about a year.
This is the only weight loss method that works for me with the added plus of health benefits. I have a small cholestral issue - i feelconfident 5:2 will sort it out.
@Sallyo, thtat sounds like a great arrangement you have.
I'm fasting today. Salmon tonight with some peas and who knows what else. Not feeling hungry yet...but then its only 9 in the morning!
Merry Monday fast everyone
Oops enjoy the chocolate Sally
@SalllyO I think I will have to learn Japanese at some point as my lovely youngest son will insist on watching all the Nintendo you tube channels and asking me what they say or read them. I have no idea
The stress of wedding planning is hitting its peak! I feel like I need more time in the day and more hands. I decided to craft felt flower bouquets for all the tables and we've got a board game theme so we're creating fun centrepieces inspired by specific games (Scrabble, Monopoly, etc). All GREAT ideas but a lot to do...
In good news: They have finally discharged my mum from hospital! It only took 6 blasted weeks! She's now recuperating and while she's very weak, being able to sleep uninterrupted and have some homecooked food has been great for her. She seems to be getting better every day.

Just to add to the Japanese thing... they only teach Mandarin (of the non-European languages) at my son's school so he's been taking that. One way I convinced him to do the Mandarin GCSE next year was that it's a great lead in to Japanese if he wants to study that at university later on. Sadly they don't teach it at his secondary school here. And his love of Japanese is coming from anime and Pokemon and youtube.. so lovely to see it's being taught more and more.
Feeling the fasting love x
