Starting early today. I've just counted up my calories on My Fitness Pal : it's cottage cheese and blackberries for breakfast, fish with roast veg for dinner. We are off to Burnie today for OH to see the gastroenterologist. So, busy day, that's always good on a fast day.

I am fasting today - I need it. I had a bit of a carb fest on the week end, some anxiety and hence emotional eating. I have had a good talking to myself, and welcome this fast today to get me back on track, not too much damage on the scales thank goodness.

Hi All - I'm on too today - week 3 of the 5:2 and had a big weekend so looking forward to a fast and hopefully even some exercise today!! good luck all!
Oh go on then. Just back from holiday and I could do with it.
After a looooong holiday, Im back!! No way am I going near the scales(they will probably break), the tight clothes say enough. Not sure how I will go but coming into work and trying to sort it all out will help distract :grin:

Yes, it snowed here this morning.
I'm in. I've spent the morning at the vet updating the kitties' vaccinations. Have a good fast everyone!!
I'm not hungry, had a Chinese takeaway last night, with red wine. Not eating till after noon.
Snow in Oz I've seen, I hope everyone is ok.
Very cold. The OH and I had a fight in Burnie! And when I got home I had a bowl of cottage chesse and tuna and may have pushed the calories over the 500 mark. I am trying to bulk up with cauliflower tonight which is pretty calorie friendly. Emotional eating. And he has gone out and bought a packet of sweet biscuits and left them open on the table. He is not my friend tonight. Hope we get over it soon, but I am not ready yet! Ms Grumpy! I might feel better when I get some dinner into me. Off to Sydney tomorrow and I will enjoy lots of lovely food.
This morning I made a snap decission - why wait until John starts school when I can start over now?
On the scales and yes, 8kg up since before :shock: Took measurements as well and put them in my log sheet. Made the menue for the next 4 days diners (incl today) with the HB cook books and will not eat anything during the fastdays - just dinner. Plan is to try for 3 fast days or at least Monday+Wednesday and cut down of most unhealthy stuff on Friday. Thankfully it's the fresh Swedish crayfish (not many kcal there) season and we splurge ever Friday dinner :smile:

I'm in. Yippee, I'm on holiday so there is no rushing out the door moment, ah bliss. I'm spending my day sorting out all those things that pile up, it'll be a relief to move them on and out of the way. Dinner is marinated courgette spaghetti with fish.

Hello Sallyo, and other fasters today! I am truly fasting now, so may I join you?? It is only 13:00 here and I am waiting for 14:00, when I can have a walk and at the end of that an afternoon snack. I am having a very light supper today, because my weight keeps going up, though I am seriously window fasting every day. My light supper is an egg and lettuce salad, with Dill, and some low carb toast. I am trying to comfort myself with the thought from the Fast 5 book, where he says that window fasting will not start working until a fortnight into the programme. sigh. tomorrow the fortnight will be reached. We'll see. Anyways, it has been nice to be able to write here, Thank you. Good luck to all others! :smile:
