Hi everyone. I'm ready for a great fast today but not sure what's for dinner. Just tea, water and broth till then. Sorry I'vebeen MIA for a while. My nearly 17 year old son has been dicovered as a model and will be launched in next few weeks at a modelling agency. Ive been tryingto learn as much about the industry so i can protect him. its exciting and a bit scary.
xxx julianna
Hi @Julianna how exciting, please keep us all posted how your son goes!!
Im fasting and I also dont know what we are eating tonight, I do know we have an abundance of snowpeas and kale so I guess it will include those.
Happy Monday Fasting
Hello @Wineoclock and @julianna. I'm missing today's fast, OH's birthday today but I'll be in tomorrow. How exciting Julianna! We think my nephew should be a model but we can't persuade him. Snow peas! You are always ahead of me Wineoclock in the garden. Mine are half way up the trellis but a long way from making pods.
@Sallyo the broad beans are just starting now so looking forward to them. The Fennel is up but still teeny weeny. We have been eating carrots too. Yum Yumn
I'm in, sipping tea at work, will have miso soup in the afternoon and salad with greek yoghurt in the evening.
I'm joining you today. Enjoying my first cup of tea. With an evening meeting tonight the plan is to have a fish supper at 9pm, over 12 hours from now. Sounds a long, long time .... away.
Good luck with the launch @Julianna :clover:
Happy birthday to your OH @Sallyo :cake:
Happy fast day everyone, lets do it! :clover:
Happy Fast Day everyone - I made some flapjack at the weekend and I can feel the munchies coming on so I am going to resist and have a healthy fast today. Thank goodness for 5:2!
Hi Julianna,i was wondering where you were!
So glad you were missing for such a wonderful reason
Good luck to yr boy!
@sallyo HB to OH
So yr birthdays are very close together!x
Happy fasting Monday Marvels! X
Julianna - what an exiting time for you. We are thinking about seding out some tenders for our 16yr old son, haven't got around to take some decent pics just yet.
Sallyo - Happy Happy Birthday to you!
I did two full fast last week and is on again today. I find it painful but I will (as Gloria Gayonr) survive. Slight headache and am cold though. HB Jerk Checken and salad for dinner. Luckily the son does like his vegs ;)
I'm joining you today. Just trying to remove a couple of unwanted pounds before heading off to Belgium to visit my daughter and granddaughters in their new home. She has asked us to take so much stuff over that I need to reduce my personal poundage as much as possible!
Roast chicken (no skin) for supper tonight with home-grown runner beans and sweetcorn and home-grown new potatoes for the men. They would like roasties but I know that I couldn't resist so they are off the menu until tomorrow!
Hello All!

I'm fasting today too. I had porridge at 11.00 and I'll have some ratatouille at about 6pm tonight and lots of herbal tea to keep me going in between. I've just started this fasting lark so I feel like I need to plan carefully or I'd end up falling off the wagon.

Good luck everyone!
Fasted 19 hours so just ate scrambled eggs with a little cream mixed in, totally yummy! My weight is at 75.5kgs today, slow little losses but hoping for the best as always :0)
Fasted today, been at work 7.30 am until 6pm tonight. Decided to have the small portion of peanut curry with runner beans that was left from last night. Have just wolfed down two soft rolls and butter though so the whole lot added up to about 650 kc. I hope I can leave it at that. Have just been so hungry with all the exercise I've been doing. Good luck to those just beginning their fast.
Bedtime for me as it's 0020!
Ended up with lunch and 6pm snack of
http://www.pret.co.uk/en-gb/553-soups-chicken%2c-broccoli-%26-brown-rice-soup.aspx 126 cals and at 6pm Sushi 137 cals.
Done it. About to read the fast day thread backwards to see what I have missed.
Good luck to our fasters out west. :clover:
@Paquin welcome to the fasting thread and larkin! We all find our own way in the early days. Some follow by the rule and book (I did, as I'm that kind of person) and some find the best way is to explore slowly and steadily in a way that works for them, rather than crash and burn. My advice is to read all the info and as many former conversations you wish, it's so empowering ... and of course join the conversations ... it's helpful and fun! :clover:  How was your day?
