I am in too. First fast of the week.
With this issue of telling people we are fasting I don't! I try not to arrange meals for fast days. If I cannot get out of it I say I am not hungry which is always accepted. If it is a meal away from home on a fast day I keep it light. It is strange how it is ok to not feel hungry but brings endless unwanted advice if I say I am fasting!
Happy fasting, remember we have found the Holy Grail!
You saying this @Bobshouse has reminded me if a play i was listening to last night.
Husband says to wife, have some breakfast, she says she is too upset to eat,he says," Darling, you' ll be awfully weak if you don't have breakfast!"
It is all a lie! I will not faint, I know! Love it!
I'm in today for the first of 3 this week. My dads fasting with me today. He doesn't need to lose weight but is interested in the health benefits. He finds skipping meals and being hungry quite easy so it should be a breeze for him.
Queens birthday ? who knew ? If she's allowed 2 so am I, mmmmmm now when do I want my 2nd birthday to be? *scratches head* ;)
Happy fasting everyone :)
I'm in today, feel quite sluggish and heavy after a couple of days of indulgence so a rest from eating and drinking will be welcome, on my second black coffee already,

Ballerina x
Ah but that means we will age faster too! Or should it just be six months older! Confused!
I'm in. Good luck all!
I'm back on the wagon after a weekend of indulgence..... wedding buffet, breakfast in the hotel, ice creams and lemon drizzle cake (which by the way is still sitting in the kitchen) i enjoyed it all but back to reality now :like:
I'm in, need to buy salad stuff though!
Im in today! Only doing one fast this week as Im off to download festival Wednesday with a camper van full of beer and BBQ food :) and don't think I can do two consecutive days before I go . I guess ill pay the price when I weigh next  Good luck all
Thanks SallyO and Gigi. Its probably a bit late for the ease a cold to be effective for DD but I bought it anyway. Good to know for the next cold. @MLCDz that's a tough one. I
Like Bob said, if the fast word will scare your mum just do the cooking then say I've been nibbling and I'm full! Or just say ' mum, I've lost over 10 KGS and my doctor is thrilled and wants me to keep doing what I'm doing!'
Xxx go Mary Lyn xxx
@MLCDz your mum will surely notice you have lost 11+kg there my dear. Congrats Just fast I reckon. Also the Queens real birthday is 21st April. Is that your birthday or is it today. Anyway happy birthday to you.
Day 2 b2b, doing ADF but had to jiggle the weekend due to a unexpected Saturday off work, Min was away camping with Scouts, so Minsdad and I went out for a quiet dinner date :)
@Philxjr enjoy the beer and bbq and don't forget the marshmallows for toasting ( a definite must on our camper trips) :)
@Philxjr Don't have breakfast and try a 16:8 tomorrow.
Been jogging and up to the supermarket I needed salad stuff for tonight.
That's sounds like a plan @Brand-ie Never looked into all that stuff but am I correct in assuming that you just eat for 8 hours? I mean eat within an 8 hr window ( not eat for 8 hours lol)

and thanks @minsmum  I love marshmellows not had them for years!
