Good morning Fasters. And a wave to Sunday fasters further west. I'm ready to fast today. Been up early and ready for coffee now. I have a big list of jobs for the day so I should keep busy. Have a good one.
Good morning everybody - thanks @Sallyo - have a wonderful day.
After doing some domestic chores I am going off to my Water aerobics class, then later I will be going into the garden to tidy up the roses and do some weeding.

I had a very successful week sticking to the Paleo WOE and am continuing on this path, feeling less bloated and 'lighter' and the scales are going down. :like:
Just a salad for the evening meal tonight, perhaps with some protein, either eggs or chicken.

Have a wonderful day everybody

take care
Cheers
Maggie.

I'll be fasting tomorrow as well! i say tomorrow because it will be for me-over here in New York!
Wish me luck :crossed:
Good Morning @Sallyo I have also started the day with a black coffee yum yum!!
Way to go @Maggiee, Ive been thinking about trying Paleo, can you recommend any good books on it?
Hi @CandiceMarie heres hoping for a great nights sleep for you.
Hi @DY13 How is NY today, thats a place thats definately on my travel bucket list.
I'm in. Noon here. Busy day at the office and all good so far. I am hoping to have a 500 cal fast day as have been exceeding by 100-150 lately. I'll aim to be strict. I tend to get caught out by eating something (rice cracker, hummus, usually) around 5:45pm when home from work before workout or eating something after dinner.
Lunch time yoga soon and weights after work. Good luck all.
yes, @nznicole, that snacking at 5.45 is my undoing as well. It reminds me of the time when I was giving up smoking. If I came across an open packet of cigarettes - it was in the days of share households - I would find I had a lighted cigarette in my hand before i even knew what was happening. Now it's sesame wheat biscuits with butter! Just when I'm in the kitchen getting dinner. I really hope to resist tonight. So by saying it here, that might help.
This is my first post on this forum. I'm fasting tomorrow also because it's my Monday over here in New York.
*waves* hiya all - I'm in today too!

Made a nice black coffee when I first got into work (early!) which kicked in just as I started to lead assembly...with a rather annoying quivery-jumpiness of my left buttock! (Hope it wasn't too obvious to the kids!) Note to self...watch caffeine intake!

Just had a green tea for morning tea...which has left me feeling a bit peckish. But that will pass...I'll just keep reminding myself that I'll enjoy a few a nuts a bit later, and then lamb casserole for dinner. Aiming for around 700-800 cal today, as I'm maintaining well at the moment, so should be good.

May the fast be with you all!
I am in! I've had this weird thing with fasting lately. So, I've bean moaning to anyone who cares to listen about fasting fatigue and the relentlessness of this maintenance business. My last few fasts have been *really* difficult. Like going-out-of-my-head hungry difficult. I stuck with it, as we do. And somehow… I feel less bored with it all. I think I just needed a change…. or a challenge. Now I'm not saying I want every fast to be such a challenge, that would be difficult and boring! I'm just marveling at how strange my brain/body are...

Anyway, good luck Monday fasters! :clover: :clover:

Hi @LovesWalking - welcome to the forums! I'm upstate, and if we're not snowed in, I'll be fasting tomorrow too. My husband hates to have a fast day if he's home and near the kitchen, so we don't fast on snow days. :-)
Hello @Wineoclock - The Paleo Diet, Revised edition - Loren Cordain is the ebook I have from Amazon. I don't have the cookbook, but I have borrowed a couple from the Library.

In this early stage, I prefer to keep my menu very simple - basically just meat/chicken/fish/eggs - and salad or steamed vegies.
One thing I know for sure with this WOE, my digestive system is a lot better - I am less bloated and 'feel' healthier.

cheers
Maggie
Afternoon fasters, Here I am in the kitchen, cooking dinner. It's another recipe from Hugh Furnley Wittingstall's book Fruit. This time it's sardines with plums, cooked with a spicy red chilli, ginger and soy flavourings. And salad with cucumber and tomato, which may not go. Rice would probably be better, but .....Hanging in. Only 2 sesame wheat biscuits with butter and one fresh apricot. I think I'll squeeze into 500 cals.
I'm in after a dreadful PMT fueled weekend

If it was a carb and not nailed down I ate it .... why oh why did I do that ?
I have been doing so well since Christmas its almost as if I don't want this WOE to work for me :-(

So I shall wish everyone a great fasting day and a slink off to my laptop and bury my head in a spreadsheet :pig:
I feel your carbiness @RedRobin I go like that every month.
I am in today. Fairly busy hopefully. Got butternut squash carbonara for dinner later.
