I'm in today - only managed one 5:2 day least week, then had takeaway curry on Friday night so this is much needed! :clover: :clover: everyone.
Wow, it's crowded here today, excuse me, I try to get to the corner over there and silently contemplate how hungry and miserable I am.
Morning everyone! I'm joining in from London, its nearly lunchtime here and I have a nice little tuna salad lined up.
Aiming to drop 3lbs during November to get to my intermediate goal of 147lb, and then my dream weight of 140 will be within reach!
I'm in today and have manged to get by on water, green tea and a coffee so far. Its 6.15PM and I'm trying to drag this out until 7.30 and then have soup.
I made some coconut ice yesterday and bought them into work and managed to hand them out to everyone and not have any myself.... feeling proud :victory:
So far first week down, but I drink hot tea or coffee all day. I save my calories for my nighttime meal. So far so good. I know the first week everyone looses a ton of weight and then it slows down. So far I really do love the fast diet. I really do. Yay.
I'm in today, had an indulgent weekend so much needed! Not quite noon here, having my green tea now, won't eat till 6pmish. Weight not budging again the last couple of weeks...sigh. Guess I'll need to watch normal days too...or become resigned to where I am now. Not sure which I'll do....I still believe there's no point in losing weight I can't keep off long term. The whole reason I find 5.2 doable is being able to eat what I want without counting on normal days. If that means I never get under an "overweight" BMI, it's still better than where I was (obese BMI). Though I'm not really into BMI, it's still a useful indicator.
It's 8.20pm and I'm just through the door from work. It's so very welcoming to read all your posts!
Oven is on, slow cooking chicken thighs that will be served on a huge bed of winter greens. I'm RAVENOUS, careful Lizbean
I'm resting while dinner is cooking and then I'll embark on completing work to do ahead of tomorrow :( that includes circulating additional documents for tomorrows meeting and setting out 8 x 10people table settings for a dinner tomorrow evening. I'll be burning the midnight oil at this rate, mainly because I lost four days work last week. Never mind.
Did anyone else have problems logging in over the weekend? I did, though this morning was fine. From the experience I learnt 1) I'm not IT savvy, I had no idea how to diagnose where the problem was, and if it was with me etc - stress riser! 2) How relieved I was this morning to be in touch - an immediate de-stressing moment made me realise how relaxing it is to engage on the forum. So thank you everyone for the great experience
OK, had my dinner, roasted butternut squash and black beans and shitake mushrooms. Still have 100+ cals remaining, probably have a snack in an hour or so. 'Night, all!
