My OH & I are also fasting today on this grey raining Bank Holiday! I was very hungry all day yesterday so ate too many calories :frown:
Only 1 & 1/2 weeks left for losing more weight before my sons wedding & I only lost 14 oz last week :confused: I will try ADF this next week & hoping eating more these last two days has re-assured my body that I am not starving myself so my fasts will be more effective :grin:
I hope you all have a good fast day I think all of England is awash but Scotland has some sun.
I'm in as usual, Monday and Thursday although for the past 7weeks of summer life has been completely upside down what with visitors, holidays and odd days away. It is all showing on my waist line too. I am planning a pure protein day today just to give the fat a fright. Hope you all have a good day. :victory:
I'm in, Oh what a day. I won't bore you with it now, off for a swim to unwind. Better to keep those books for tomorrow @karenm, then a bit of chocolate can be enjoyed. Hope everyone is having an easy fast. :)
Hello All, I'm new to the forum, though not quite so new to the 5:2 diet. I was on the summer diet hiatus, and I have a proof of it clinging to my body for the last few months. I'm excited to get to know you and all and get motivated anew. I live in Vancouver, Canada, so I'm just starting my day. I'll be busy this morning perusing the food options this site offers. There are several of us in North America fasting along with you today.

I'm a bit hungrier than usual, probably because my project that has been keeping me so busy is just about done. But it's only a few more hours until my fast-day meal.

Hang in there, all still fasting!

Mine wasn't perfect but a good 19:5 very low cal + carb day so I'm hoping that'll be good enough for one of my
4:3 days this week :shock:

Couple of forkfuls of rice, few chunks of chicken and some sweet and sour sauce (icky!) plus an apple, few rasps and a taste of roulade.
Now I've typed it back out, it could be more :bugeyes:

Well done @karenm, determination day done check :like: . Sorry hubby bowed out but good on you for sticking with it, for me that would have been enough for me to bow out too. I had a good day, chicken salad this evening about 9:30 and I've just had some melon. I think I'm well under today (that doesn't happen often enough). Are you back in for a determination day Thursday?

Hi all! Had a good fast day in the U.S. today. Coffee with a bit of cream and sugar and 2 hard-boiled eggs for breakfast, then a chicken taco with a bit of guacamole and cheese (no tortilla) for dinner. And I found an AWESOME lo-cal snack: instant miso broth (it comes in a squeeze container and you just add it to hot water) with a couple of handfuls of spinach and sliced mushrooms. The veggies are super-filling and delicious, and the whole thing comes in under 50 calories.

That said, can't wait to eat my leftover pasta for lunch tomorrow. =)
