Its that 90mins before dinner!

Oh @peebles, I like your diet! Can I have some? :grin:
@Minsmum, have you started Insanity? Feel free to join us over at the 30day Fitness challenge thread! (See link in my sig) It just started today.
@Loversghost, that sounds really painful. Can you get a therapeutic massage, if the GP cant/wont help?
@scubachick, that is so sweet. We have Pooh fans in the family and the youngest ones tend to listen to some people's conversations about food when they're out and about and then ask, in their best imitation of a story-teller's voice, "Is that because of getting thinner?". (Pooh Goes Visiting, House at Pooh Corner.)
"Then there's only one thing to be done," he said. "We shall have to wait for you to get thin again."

"How long does getting thin take?" asked Pooh anxiously.

...

"A week!" said Pooh gloomily. "What about meals?"

"I'm afraid no meals," said Christopher Robin, "because of getting thinner quicker. But we will read to you."
I'm kayaking tonight so I'm about to have some aubergine and tomato stew with white fish before launching then I'll have some broth afterwards.

Best wishes to anyone who has the evening ahead or much longer. :)
I'm in today. Busy day, all went to plan, now for a very busy month. Tired now, must sleep. Have you been in today @Karenm? x
@scubachick,

My blood sugar and blood pressure have been amazing all day, too. I didn't eat much oif the crust, making the pizza not too high in carbs, but the calories must have been astronomical maybe my body finally decided I'm not starving to death.

Or maybe I'll see a rebound weight gain over the week, which is more likely.

I'm in for today! I was going to push my fast day to Tuesday because of the Labor Day holiday, but I ate so much at the buffet last night that I feel the need to detox. The perils of living in Las Vegas... locals discounts on all-you-can-eat buffets. =)
Thank you all for your lovely anniversary wishes. We had the loveliest day and ready and happy to fast today after lots of sumptuous food.
Xxx
@loversghost - until recently I thought the route to health was via NHS, for getting well, but our GP's often don't give us the route. So I signed up to a chiropractor £65 first consultation, £45 thereon (London prices). Results, perfect - and my staff from work have attended and getting great results. I'm not saying a chiropractor has the answers. I have been in pain like you, it finally made me get off my but and explore solutions that were within my purse. Best investment I made in a very long time, apart from fasting which has changed my life - for good. Thanks everyone :heart:

Hope this is helpful.

Off to bed, and wishing you who are still fasting all the best :clover: :like: :cool:

@loversghost,

Do not use a chiropractor for neck problems! There have been quite a few cases documented in the US where they did something to the neck that caused severe irreversible harm.

I had such a terrible experience with a chiropractor who made my ruptured disc much worse, that I would suggest you find out form a doctor if you have ruptured a disc and only visit a chiropractor if you are assured your problems are only muscular.

Though it is no longer fashionable to call chiropractors quacks, quite a few are. The one who damaged my spine was highly recommended locally, but ended up a few years after I saw her in prison for Medicare fraud. Another one that I saw turned out to be deeply involved with a very sleazy psychic who channeled entities. When that chiropractor started diagnosing my problems with a pendulum, I was out of there.
