Hi all. I'm in today too. Guzzling fizzy water to try and quell the rumbling tummy. I won't be eating until this evening.
This is week 2 for me and I'm fasting today.
Last week was incredible. I weighed in this morning and I've lost 8lbs and 1" from my waist.
Feeling very happy
Congratulations @lazyfatboy that's brilliant !!!
Congrats on a great 1st week Lazyfatboy!! Rock on Week 2!

I'm in for my normal Monday fast. I didn't overdo this weekend simply because I had a stomach bug Friday night into Saturday that was dreadful. Haven't been that sick in a long time. Thank goodness it was only a 24 hr thing, but still tried to eat light yesterday so as not to "poke the bear"!

Not the way I'd recommend to drop a couple pounds!
Have a new monday FD strategy..i declutter Sunday, get up Monday to lovely tidy home, then spend Monday pampering!

@gym-sparkle-90 i bet you will look great in that swimmy!
@Mahalo thanks for the recommendation x x
Thanks, all, for the continued motivation. Today I'm in. I had lost almost 9 lbs in 2.5 weeks, so I decided 4:3 was too much and I wasn't sure I was eating enough total, so I decided to cut back to 5:2 and not monitoring as much on my non-fast days. Well, that was a mistake, as I have gained back several pounds, especially from a few parties at a friend's house (same friend, both Thursday and Sunday).

This week I will go back to 4:3 and try to count calories on non-fast days as well. The other thing I need to do is REALLY get back to exercising. Since I started this WOE I have really started to slack on that. However, I have done a stellar job of decluttering my apartment!
Oh @lizardline sometimes it feels like one step forward, two steps back!
Those scales are very capricious...there's days they want to be our friends, days they don't!
My guess is your real loss lies somewhere in between those two numbers you were given!which is still a great result! ( i lost nothing fir my first five weeks)
Glad you're still keeping going tho..stay positive, keep moving, watch the cals,do yr two days to the best of yr ability and good results are bound to follow x
I'm checking in today! I have lost 1/2 pound for the entire month of January. Here is hoping the month of Feb is a little better

Thanks, @CandiceMarie I agree completely that it is likely to be somewhere in between, but I know that I totally overdid it and did not keep track of what I ate, plus what I did eat was a lot of sugary junk, which isn't good no matter what. I need to be more mindful when I go to this friend's house because she tends to have too many sweets out at parties and if I don't keep count of calories as I used to, I will just continue to eat with no stopping point.
Also, I really, really need to get back on the exercise wagon!
Hi all - I'm in today - have just mindfully eaten some Turkish yoghurt (10% fat) with honey and am having smoked salmon and scrambled egg for dinner.
Well done @lazyfatboy - you'll be disappearing in no time!
I know Liz@lizardline..i HAVE to keep track or i go right off track!5:2 wd be so much easier for me if i wasnt counting every other day * sigh*
Madcat@madcatlady i' m craving yog with honey but its not in my food budget today..will be having some tomorrow tho..its delish and good for our bones! X
@canoegal keep yr spirits up X here's to a great Feb! :like: :clover:
Fasting today here too and the day is grey also :) Fresh peaches falling off the tree! That sounds amazing!!! Good luck everyone!
I think I've eaten too early but I was hungry and couldn't wait  so I've used all my cals up for today, I hope I can manage all night with nothing else.
@candicemarie The show was fab very funny, it was a series of all the characters doing an act as if we were in the phoenix club so Ted's part wasn't crucial although he was missed. Peter got very tearful at the end sending prayers to Ted  I believe he is on the mend fingers crossed.
I'm in today after intentionally skipping a fast last week. Weight is holding steady and today's fast was much, much easier. I am going for a slightly higher target since I'm maintaining, so I had two coffee with half and half cream. That makes the fast a lot more pleasant.
I was in for the Monday fast. It was a good fast calorie wise and I managed emotionally, which is always a bonus.
Happy fasting!
