I'm in.. ish. Realistically it's going to be a 700-800cal day. I hate failing fasts but life gets in the way of them sometimes and no way am I missing a champagne night!
Lil
i have just started and weigh in at 128 kg so lots to loose.
this is my second day fast and i am keen to talk to others who are tipping the scales in the same way and how they are finding the process as this is early days for me.
My fasts are always 700 - 800 @LilSmiler and I have steadfastly lost x
Thanks Penny that's definitely good to hear! If I do go slightly over I'll try not to beat myself up toooo much ;)
Hi all, I'm in.
I've been for my lap swimming- it's a beautiful sunny day in Sydney.
I know I should swim in the shady lane but I just can't do it- love the sun. We do go early though before the 11-3 UV danger zone!
I'm on clear fluids till 6ish when I'll have veges and fruit.
I'm finding I'm usually full enough after about 300 cals now- ( I'm a shortie so it's probably what I actually should be having, I've never checked!)
It is still the 3-5pm time that I hate most days. :starving:
Have a good fasting day everyone.
Oooh and there's the hunger that will no longer be controlled by water.. time for a miso I think.
Hello there, I'm in today too. Can't believe it's midday already.

Takeaway mini-b burrito from guzman 'n gomez for me tonight - my go-to fast dinner when I haven't pre-prepared anything at home! I don't mind, they're pretty yummy :-)

It's beautiful weather here today in Sydney town.

Hope you all have a great day and a successful fast
Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, and very excited to be joining - you all seem like a lovely lot. I've been on 5:2 for 6 weeks now, and am down nearly 3kgs. Fasting today - just water until dinner and weigh day tomorrow. Am travelling overseas in 4 weeks, & have one of those 0 birthdays (the big one) in 5weeks. So lots to aim for. Cheers!
I'm in, cuppa soup for me tonight. Hoping to get out for a walk if it ever stops raining!!
I'm here too. Went to the hairdresser's this afternoon and had my hair cut, a lot shorter - lighter hair to go with the lighter me! About to start cooking dinner, lasagne to go with this chilly weather!

Welcome to the newbies and good fasting everyone! :clover:
I'm here, and its 5.10pm. I am not happy about wishing my fast days away, I am doing that, wishing the next day to appear. Thats not living, wanting the day to be over.

Fasting is enough 2 days a week to be wishing them done.
I do like fasting but they are hard, even when I'm done eating, just waiting to eat something with zing. Not a veggie fan by a long shot, but i eat them. But I am getting excited about my 200grams of baked beans, with a dash of hot sauce

This is more psychological for me than anything. If I were busier it would be easier mentally, but my body slows down on a fast day. I did a over 50's exercise class today and it was good and not too hard for fasting.

I feel a bit stuck, not busy enough to shut the mental clatter about fasting and waiting for the next day, and fasting takes my energy.

Have to rethink something.

Any wisdom sayers? with insight. I really do enjoy all the positive people and their experiences.
Fasting today. Third one this week. Hope its going well for everyone and good luck for those who's day is just starting. :clover: :clover:
Fasting today as well, my second fast of the week. I will go out with my running group this morning, then cook a bolognaise with mince for my family and more veg and quorn for me. I'm out of Slim Noodles so a trip to Holland and Barrett later.
Good luck everyone :clover:
I'm in too! Going to give Quorn sausages ago. Now the cold weather is fast approaching I'm looking at all different options
Oh tickatape, I hadn't thought of using the sausages, I'll look up the calories later. The chicken style pieces are pretty good, I've used them in curries etc
