I'm fasting today - woke up absolutely starving this morning so I've had a handful of mixed nuts in the hope it'll keep me going(!) Then just a few grapes for me throughout the day and a Linda McCartney spinach and mushroom burger (113kcal) with a few veggies for dinner - can't wait! Happy fasting all xx
I'm in too.
The sun's shining and we have a lettuce mountain in the garden so I'll have a huge salad later.
I'm in today iv'e got to make this one count as it's my birthday tomorrow and i have a family meal planned. Then on Saturday my hubby and i are going out for a meal where i fully intend to have steak rossini  wine etc etc
Good luck fasters.
Happy Birthday for tomorrow @Janpartly and count me in too! May our losses be high.

Yes I am fasting today.
As mentioned on another thread my big problem today/tonight will be watching the footy without a beer

Green tea/Black coffee all day , maybe a Ryvita for lunch and quorn "chicken" fillets and steamed broccoli for main meal this evening .
I should say I was fasting today. It is 8pm now in Melbourne and have had my dinner which was fish and a bit of steamed broccoli. I had not had breakfast or lunch. My problem is, I am OK not eating all day and just have a cup of tea in the morning and a cup of coffee mid-day but when I have dinner, I start getting hungry. I keep nibbling on things which I hope they are low cal. I was much better when I was trying to loose weight but now on maintenance and still having two days fasting, I find it much harder to keep the weight down. Some feed days feel like I just have come from a famine. Wish me luck on maintenance struggle.
I'm today. I had a lovely meal out (again 3rd time this week) out last night with some wonderful ladies who all have SN kids. I was goodish no alcohol but did have a chocolate pudding ( can I say that in this thread :)).
I think i have put on this week though but it's also TOTM so hey ho onwards and downwards as the saying for this WOE goes.
I'm in today as well. Our Thursday tradition is to go out for some low calorie thai food for dinner - steamed veggies and chicken with brown rice and a light, spicy basil broth/sauce.
Lovely to see you @tracieknits! Day is done here. Very good fast. Fasting at work is so much easier than fasting at home. Didn't do miso soup. Heated up lentil soup on return at 6pm and had it with a piece of sourdough bread and then 2 squares of chocolate. Felt like I wanted more, but held off and I think I've got through with 500 cals. Hang in there, people further west of here. May the Fast be with you!
Back for another fast day after a week off.

I'll have to spend some time playing with my diet software to come up with today's menu, as I am not going to be eating what I have eaten on fast for the past six weeks due to the tummy issues. That's rather a shame as the food I was eating, while not particularly delicious had been extremely satisfying and nutritionally complete. Knowing I wasn't going to be hungry at all after dinner made it very easy to wait through the day.
Fasting today and my husband is joining me too this time. It was a difficult morning as my 2 year old kept us up half the night and I always feel really tired when sleep deprived. I am also not looking forward to watching the football without a beer. It doesn't seem right!
I'm in today. Last fast before I go on holiday on Sunday. Wall to wall food for a fortnight - yum!

@Pariah, I think that maintenance is very difficult because, when you're aiming to lose weight, you have a specific goal and can measure your progress with the scales or a tape measure. However, when maintaining, there is nothing measurable. Somehow, seeing no change on the scales isn't quite so rewarding!

At least you're keeping your evening nibbles low cal and , if you're still fasting twice a week, you should have quite a few calories available for evening treats. I allow myself an ice cream, a few biscuits a packet of crisps, a glass of wine etc - not all of these, every day, of course and only on non-fast days!

Good luck, fellow fasters. Stay strong! Onwards and downwards!
It's only 3.41pm and I've already started struggling :-/
We have chicken casserole with brown rice for dinner. I don't even know why it's tough today :?: Perhaps going for our walk this morning instead of this afternoon and going to 2 supermarkets hasn't helped lol.
I am still determined, even though husband isn't going to be joining me due to the football later. I will keep reminding myself that I'm getting weighed in the morning!
Hope everyone is doing well fasting today x
