Had to get up and look at the calendar. Can it really by the 19th of June already? Hello! Yes I'm fasting today and it's already 8 am. Just having my black coffee. Dinner for tonight: Jill Dupleix' Life Saving Lentil Soup from the June 2011 Delicious. It comes to 420 a serve as it has lots of pulses. But also leek and carrot and tomato. When i get home late after work, all I have to do is heat it up, chop up some parsley and some people can have a slice a toast. But probably not me. I will save that 80 calories for a miso soup during the mid afternoon. Day is grey and cold, but not raining. I am going to park the car away from work and walk via the fruit shop. I have the early childhood classes and we have been learning the Japanese for various fruit and colours, so I thought I would buy some apples and pears of different colours and we'll do something with them. Akai ringo ka kiroii ringo? Red apple or yellow apple?
Konnichiwa @Sallyo! Thanks for your kind comments on my blog. Its annoying that I can't tag you in there.

Still Wed evening here, but I will be joining you in the morning. My week is all out of routine. I did the 10k run last Sunday, so I didnt fast until Tuesday. This pushes my usual Wed fast to Thurs. I havent done my usual runs this week either as I am still feeling the effects of the big run. What day is it again :?:
Thanks @Sallyo. I'm also off to bed soon. Yummy soup, I'll look that up. I'm planning to recreate spicy yoghurt, spinach and green lentil soup this weekend (enjoyed it at Kenwood House at w/end).

Tomorrow I'll enjoy gazpacho soup and a protein pot - and lots of tea and water.

Happy fasting everyone :clover: :like:
Good Morning all. As usual your dinner sounds yummy Sallyo, I love soups for lunch in winter and have been filling my freezer with lots of different sorts. I've been working my way through all the soups in my cook books, favourite so far has been celeriac and fennel.
Well not sure why I even went to bed last night, toss, turn, toss, turn. Glad I have a quietish day.
Black coffee and water until a dinner of tofu and veggies which will include my second harvest of snow peas.
Happy fasting.
I think that soup showed up as a daily favourite on the taste.com website @SallyO. I have bookmarked it to cook today.

Was hoping not having to do a fast today but due to cold weather I have been eating more and drink hot chocolates late at night (with biscuits) so I'll be joining you today.
Mmm @Sallyo - akai ringo ga daisuki desu ... But I won't be eating one today!

I'm a bit later than normal checking in - it's decided to rain at lunchtime here, so I can't go for my normal walk...so you get me instead! My Mr made a huuuuge pot of veggie soup the other day, so I'm looking forward to warming up with that this evening. Just deciding now whether to enjoy another green tea or cup of miso to warm my chilled fingers! However would I cope in colder climes?

May the fast be with you all!
Hi, I'm in at morning time. Good thing too, as I'm feeling salty & bloated. Grilled steak & a fast day salad (lots of greens & veggies, no croutons, crunchies, fruit or cheese) for dinner. Might cook down some rhubarb sauce to put over a fresh yogurt for dessert.
Happy fasting all!
Just dropping in to say hello and happy fasting to all. Thurdsay is usually my third fast of the week and I've moved it to Friday this week. Beloved will be away all day diving tomorrow , I'm not allowed to just now so will be at home . A Friday fast will fit in a wee bit better.
Plus, I woke at 5am absolutely ravenous; Beloved's arm was looking mighty tasty and I'm veggie
Have a good fast
:clover:
Oh dear @janeg can't have chewing off people's arms.
Fasting going rather well today but shhhhh don't want to jinx myself.

Im in today and desperately trying to get off the weight I put on at the festival. I don't know what I put on as the scales are back on error again (although its not weigh day until tomorrow) hopefully the fasting today will make the scales work again! Good luck to everyone in today's fasting club !
