Oh my gosh.... I've literally been clinging on by a thread ALL day! The amount of times I've had to talk myself out of justifying letting go is ridiculous BUT I made it!! PHEW!! Just had boiled eggs and then sugar free jelly (as per) with a couple of shots of coconut milk - DONE!
I had quite an easy Fast today, I copied my Tuesday fast and had a hard boiled egg and some salad for lunch, which is just filling enough to stop me from getting grumpy pre dinner. More salad with some prawns for dinner and enough calories left for some raspberries from the garden YUMMM
Waiting for my salmon baked in miso end of day feast!
A bit disheartened with my weigh in this morning, only 200g off in a week, that is 1.2kg overall in 3 weeks so not too bad. Busy day at work and a body pump class straight after made the day go quickly and managed it all on water and 4 cups of tea.
Hope everyone has had a successful fast day
I'm in today; still only afternoon here (3:30pm). Got a little hungrier than usual on a fast day between noon and 1:30, then had no trouble putting off broth till nearly 3! Will have snack before I go out to do errands, dinner 9ish, usually Beyond Meat chickenless strips (awesome!) with steamed veggies....
Well I made it as well. I've been good with my Monday and Thursday fasts. I'm wondering how summer will go since the offspring is off from school. I may end up giving up and doing 16:8 for the summer.
I've never figured out why some fasts are so much easier than others. I was out working in my garden today, quite active, but barely felt a hunger pang. Maybe my week off reassured my metabolism I wasn't going to starve.s

I do seem to find it much easier when I don't eat anything from 7 PM the previous day until dinner. Today the exception was that I did eat the one ripe strawberry I found in the sad remains of a failed bed, now turned over to shade loving flowers. It was the first of the year, as our spring has delayed all the berries by 2 weeks.

I'll be visiting my favorite farm stand for a quart of them very soon.
huh...I had a harder-than-usual fast yesterday, but I learned some valuable tips!

1. Don't bring my son over on fast days and cook for him. He knows which are my fast days, he's an adult and can be responsible for feeding himself.
2. Start preparing dinner BEFORE I am crazed with hunger and want to chew off my own arm.
3. I MUST have SOME (healthy, low cal) carbs with dinner, preferably steamed veggies. Otherwise I'll still be jonesing for "something..."

So, it's all about being responsible and taking care of myself. Timely lessons for me!

Oh, and my weigh-in was this morning (Friday): 194.4 lbs, 2.2 additional pounds off!
