Fasting today?

Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.

Yes, me too!
Off to make first coffee with coconut oil in it. Then very light lunch (Miso soup) and chicken & veg soup for dinner.
I have a job application to complete today -
Looking forward to tomorrow!!
Good luck folks!
Yes I'm in again today for my second of my back2back to repair my holiday damage of 5kg !!! Gain :clover: Sue
Good morning

We are in as well. It's quite cold here today. I had to scratch the car windows for the first time this year and when I was walking Max I was missing my gloves, hat etc. Gonna have a look for them later.

I've been up a while now and been busy so it feels like it should be a lot later than 10am.

Good luck to everyone :clover:
Hi there fellow fasters, another Thursday another fast day :)
Feeling very dizzy today for some reason, but it's not going to stop my fast!
I am joining you all on the fast day today, this is my 3rd fast day. Hoping to do Mondays and Thursdays.
Since we are all talking about the weather, greetings from a seasonably warm october in Ireland - temps have been hitting the highs of 16 degrees this week.
Personally I want it to be cold!
Welcome to the forum niamo! :)

Sunny but cool up the Mountains today, just hoping the wind doesn't pick up today.
Food ( Oh dear I typed food instead of good shows what I'm thinking of!) luck everyone with your appointments. Off to buy food soon then home to pretend to clean the house.

Same here. Was 72kg exactly this morning so after today's fasting I am looking forward to the scales tomorrow. Went to the gym and did a big supermarket shop. After nine weeks it is getting easier!
Goodnight. Fast nearly finished. It was pretty easy until the hour before dinner.
Goodnight Sally, lunchtime here, off to put the kettle on for my coffee!
Checking in at the end of a successful fast day. Melbourne has had a blast of wintry weather which makes one crave all kinds of comforting calorie-laden things... Managed to resist and enjoyed a lovely salad and the delicious easy crispy chicken from the Hairy Dieters Cookbook for dinner. Not long till bedtime now!

Welcome to all the newbies, I'm sure you'll get the hang of fasting quickly enough! Remember it's only one day, you can do it!
I'm in today too for my 2nd fast of the week. The other days I have done 16:8 so I'm hoping this week that I'm back down to where I was before I went on holiday! Fingers crossed I can reach my target by Christmas and then reassess where I'm at.
Loving this WOL its strange how it becomes part of you and its not a chore or a hardship the days when food is restricted. I actually look forward to it. :geek:

Happy Fasting Folks and have a good weekend when it comes
Hello I'm in today and despite keeping busy, am feeling a bit peckish!
Still, with the Christmas club in mind, I will keep going (somehow!)
Good luck fellow Thursday people.
I am in today- posting up later than usual as been mega busy at work. Been a stressful week and I am not too hopeful for a loss but a plateau will suit.
Did I read somewhere that Cortisol levels in the blood can affect weight? It had certainly affected wine consumption levels and I drank far more last night then I usually do on a midweek night.

Anyway halfway through the day and it has got to be the weekend soon!!! Looking forward to a big meal out with twenty friends tomorrow and a more intimate lunch with four of my oldest friends on Saturday :-) just reminded myself why I love this WOL
Hi everyone, it's my second ever fast day today and i'm finding the hunger manageable however when do the headaches stop as these are not manageable.
Count me in. Trying a 5:2 this week as its been a busy one and I'm just feeling oh so not in the mood today!
