@Beckyeva, are you drinking enough fluids? Also, the salt in a cup of bouillon can sometimes help prevent/take a fast day headache away.
I'm fasting today too. I woke up hungry which is unusual for me. I guess today is going to be more challenging than some other fasts. Just survived my first hurdle... a work meeting with a whole table full of donuts, danishes, etc. Onward!
Hi!

I'm fasting today as well, I started this week and it's my second fast. Feeling fine so far but it is only 9.50am

Happy Thorsday!

Only 3 hours to go until food time...no that I'm counting!

Hi and good luck to my fellow Thursday Fasters :)
Nearly finished the second fast of the week. Saw the right side of 71kg after my Thursday fast last week, so let's hope that's reinforced in tomorrow's weigh in. I've been plateauing for weeks, but the motivation is still strong as I feel well for it.

Home soon for something hot and tasty - scrambled egg with plenty of salt and pepper methinks....
DOOOOOONE IIIIIIIIIIIT :victory: I very nearly blew it after tea-time though but I took some time to process the hunger which was entirely emotional - I've had a very intense, emotionally and mentally challenging day! I reasoned with myself that as this is the 2nd fast of the week then I have the weekend free if I reeeeeeeeally need something comforting - guilt free - but as I've got through today, it's proof that I can get through emotional hunger!!!!
Well done! Me too, dinner eaten and no desire for anything else. Just did evening walk with the dogs and am feeling good.
Hi all I have almost finished my fast today, 2nd of the week have been doing 5:2 for last 6 weeks this time around didn't weigh for first 3 weeks then weighed at start of week and was same as 3 weeks ago! Then weighed in desperation after feed day and had lost!
My second fast of the week and my birthday tomorrow so looking forward to a meal at the Thai restaurant and cake. Recently even with two fasts per week I have been increasing a little, I think I relaxed a little too much when I got near to my target. This morning however I was back on track so hope the scales will be kind for my weigh in tomorrow. :)

That happened to me when I got close to my target.. I became complacent, 1 stone later and I had to refocus! On my way back now AT LAST!
Thursday Faster here as well! This is my first week of fasting this time around (although I did 5:2 for about 6 months earlier this year). Feeling well and armed with a batch of homemade veggie soup, although I had to physically force myself to not eat the remnants of my kids grilled cheeses...
Well good on you for your restraint and a warm welcome to the forum!
Yippeee, I did it!
I have just completed my first 5:2 Fast and I feel terrific, but the best part was last night after having eaten the 500 calories for the day, whilst watching TV I was thinking I felt like a cheese and biscuit, but I told the feelings to go away and they did. I conquered!!
Many thanks to one and all for your support and this great forum.

cheers Maggie.
Love reading all your " I did it posts"! Buoyed me up for my day tomorrow :like: :like:
