Keep at it, you can do it!
I'm in today but feeling very fed up and very very hungry. Drinking lots of water refusing to give in and eat anything untill dinner tonight.
Dont normally struggle on fast days probably down to my mood. :starving:
Oh dear LUVLEEJU keep going your worth it.
I just had a tv catch up and feel very cold today.

My friend just came round to look at my sewing machine. I need to take it to a professional was the conclusion.
@LUVLEEJU can't you find something to keep you busy through the afternoon?

How you doing @mikesgrl79 I'm still managing to mainline liquids for now, hope your feeling ok.

Hope your all still hanging in there fasters!
Only my second fast day and keep thinking about food, need to keep busy and get food out of my brain!
On board today. Had a huge portion of takeout chow mein with fried shrimp and fish for dinner last night and am feeling it today. I'm all bloated and hungrier, too! Looking forward to cleaning out my system today with this fast. I'm learning that my body really does just love clean foods better. Looking forward to some baked chicken thighs and a large portion of veggies for dinner, and some plain Greek yogurt and frozen berries for dessert. Gonna go plot out my portion calories for today right now....

Hope everyone out there is doing well on their fasts today.
Hey everybody and my buddy @Chocobunny!

Thanks for the encouragement. I have managed to not eat everything around...so that is good. I've had 2 cups of coffee and some water. Hopefully that will see me through until my miso this afternoon.

Hugs everyone!!!!
@ARIEL4096: does it help you to drink some tea or coffee to take the edge off the hunger? I do unsweetened mint or peach tea throughout the day until dinner time, and it does help a little bit. Not much, but enough
I have just had water all day today. I'm going to have an omelette tonight with bacon medallions, cheese, spring onion, spinach, courgette, sweetcorn and asparagus. Should keep me filled up :)
Welcome to @ARIEL4096.

All done at work, will have the usual soup and raw veg tonight, feeling better this afternoon but just a bit cold.

I also find exercise hard on fasting days, though I may try to get a quick run in tomorrow morning, knowing I can look forward to breakfast after
O - M - G!! I am sooooooooooooo hungry now..but on the home stretch now to dindin time! :like:
@LOVLEEJU Stay strong,you CAN do it! X
Hey everyone - you can do it! Remember all the health benefits of fasting. When it gets really tough, what I try to keep in mind is that millions around the world have to fast DAILY because they don't have access to the resources I do - I'm choosing to do this, so I can do it or not - since it's my choice, I wait for the hunger wave to pass, have some yum yum gum (not artificially sweetened, zero cals & flavors like english toffee, banana cream, salted caramel and awesome other flavors) and that usually gets me through it.
Remember, whatever it is, you can have it tomorrow!!! Good luck.
Hi All,

I'm fasting today, too. Too busy to post until now. Today I have been MUCH less hungry than on Monday. I had a large dinner last night, which seems to help. 1/2 of a Calzone with a salad.

I'll be dining tonight on my usual fast day meal, which has been wonderful for avoiding hunger. It also takes quite a long time to make, so I feel like I am eating a huge dinner, though it comes in at about 300 calories.

For those who might care here's what I make:

1. One cup of Miso Ginger soup (from Trader Joes) into which I stir .25 ounce (7 g) of dried shitake mushrooms that I have allowed to sit for an hour in water. Also, 1 oz fresh carrot, 2 oz romaine, and 1 ounce of relatively lean pork loin roast cut into slivers topped off with two ounces of brown rice. Then I add a drop of Hot Oil to perk it up.

After I eat this, I cook up 3 ounces of brussel's sprouts briefly in the microwave and eat them with a sprinkle of a potassium/salt blend.

Dessert is no fat FAGE Greek yogurt with DaVinci sugar free German Chocolate flavor.

I have never yet been hungry after eating this dinner. (This is my 10th fast day) I wish I could find a 160 calorie lunch that works as well. I am always hungry after lunch no matter what I eat. I eat it around 1 PM and dinner prep starts around 5:45.
Another Fast nearly done - nothing till dinner then my usual Prawn Salad and Muller light dessert. Loads of calories left for a Low cal Hot Choc at bedtime.
Keep strong everyone :clover:
Ha! You are of course quite right @StowgateResident! Totally forgot that cake etc has no calories if it is an off-cut, ha ha!!

Having overindulged so much yesterday.......punishment came today in the form of fish & chips....as in watching my Mum & daughter scoffing it for tea, whilst I drank a coffee! Think I have suitably atoned for my sins.

Can't wait til tomorrow though.....

Hope my fellow Thursday fasters are breezing through the day......
