It's useful and inspiring to hear how all of us are happy to change our ways of feeding, albeit, some of us, eg me, a bit slowwwwllllyyyy.
I agree that social life that's centred on food is a BIG challenge....I've got pizza and vino on offer tonight. Lucky I skipped dinner last night to start the fast day off.
Reading about all of us becoming more lithe and spirited and active, that's great. The long term wish can trump the short term grab.
Hunger pangs are easily distracted aren't they? OK, that is, most of the time....

Sounds like most people are having a good fast today. All good here. 2.5 hours until my tofu, veggie and zero noodle stir fry, not that I'm counting down
And what happened to the weather, overcast and not real warm here.
Still all bunged up and on annual leave today so going to be a hard one! Had at least seven pieces of toast and 2 slices of gingerbread yesterday, my body was carb-crazy!!
Going to stick with the same plan as Tuesdays fast - liquids all day includng many low cal soups rather than one meal at 5pm. Hopefully will help shed this virus and continue with the weight loss plan!!
Going to a wedding on Sat and have just bought myself a new dress.The size 10 fitted but only looked nice when I was breathing in so I bought the 12 and will allow myself to eat the delicious canapes and enjoy the champagne!!
Roll on the weekend...........
Off to my Zumba class tonight so have decided its mint tea/black coffee all day with cucumber, tomato, 3 rice cakes, boiled egg before I go at around 4.30 pm and then a piece of fruit when I return from the class at 9.15 pm.

Anyway, I'm on a skinny day here. As usual, breakfast is 1.5 litres of black coffee (this is a daily thing for me). I've not planned any meals yet but I rarely eat breakfast anyway so won't eat until about 3pm for my "breakfast".
I didn't sleep well last night and have woken very tired and headachey. And I have a very busy working day ahead. I just hope I'll get through the fast without getting too grumpy. Especially as I have a ciabatta loaf in the kitchen...
I started with very good intentions but despite my usual coffee and nothing different, I have the beginnings of a migraine. I'l take paracetamol and have lunch- a fairly carb heavy one at that. So that'll be 2 full fasts, a 16:8 today and a proper fast tomorrow.
This is the first time in nearly a year that I've changed my mind mid fast. And that is OK!

I have Thai mussels and a pitta bread for dinner tonight which will be 254 calories in total - not sure whether to have a light lunch or whether that will just get me munching
I am hungry already though and its only 9.21am in UK
