I'm in today. This is my second fast day with Monday past being my first.
I was really surprised by how easy I found my first fast day and am keeping my finger crossed that today is the same.
First black coffee of the day down :like: :clover: :grin:
I'm in today, second fast of the week, will stick to the tried and trusted (for me at least) method of nothing but coffee with skimmed milk, and sparkling water until the evening, then some soup and veggies. Good luck to all :clover:
I'm fasting today just had a coffee so far. I got stuck in the snow so had to abandon my car and walk home about two miles mostly uphill, so that woke me up :oops: snow day at home now so I need to keep away from the fridge :bugeyes:
I'm in today too, 2nd fast of the week (Monday was the 1st) and 2 coffees with skimmed milk so far. Have got a small bowl of homemade butternut squash and lentil soup for lunch as sometimes I can go all day without a meal but today feeling hungrier (because of the cold probably!). Tea is some white fish with a tomato and pepper sauce and a few veg.

I'm a Thursday faster, but not fasting today. My cousin is staying and I went on a big walk. Also we had squab for tea and it is very calorific. So I am fasting tomorrow which is in about half an hour. So go well Thursday fasters.

I AM in today! That's all there is to it. I have to get back on track. Hope everyone else has a great fasting day. Take care...
No ihavent eaten @nursebean despite being unable to get visions of hot buttered toast from swimming in front of my eyes!
Will have a soup about 4.30 ..will keep busy til then..

Fasting here too, although it hasn't been helping me lose any weight. 4 weeks never missing a fast and nothing to show for it. Well, I shouldn't say that as I feel thinner........it's just the scale that won't cooperate! Even throwing in an extra 1/2 fast(1200) on Sunday along with my 2 500 calorie days has not helped. 3-4 boot camp sessions each of those 4 weeks that burn between 400-500 calories per session. I'm stumped as to why I'm not losing. Logging on MFP and keeping track with only a couple days in that 4 weeks that I "may" have gone over 2000 calories.

I am hypothyroid and take meds and my levels have always been in range. I've had some advice to try doing 4:3 with the 3 days at 800-1000 calories. I guess that is my next thing to try. Sorry for the whining. It's just getting a bit discouraging.

I shall not surrender! :curse:
This is my second fasting day of my second week following 5:2. I find it easy to follow in work - I just stick to hot water with lemon, but once I arrive home I start clock watching until I eat. :frown: A nice healthy low cal dinner in an hour or two. :grin: Good luck everyone.

I have tried 5:2 previously but gave up when I started having migraines (having never suffered from them). I think I have the migraine attacks sorted now - so I thought I would try again with 5:2
Not fasting today because it's our son's birthday and we are out for lunch and then back home for cake! My baby boy is thirty nine years old! Where did the years go? :?:
I may fast tomorrow, depends on the scales after today's indulgences! Well done to those fasting today - stay strong, you've nearly made it! :victory:
