Who's in today? :)
I am having my first black coffee for the day as I take a break from the usual Thursday house cleaning chores.
Good luck fellow fasters! :clover:
Lizbean enters left of stage skidding on her heels: Sassy I'm in! :shock: Thanks for leading the day Sassy, I'm catching up with forum messages before I go to bed. Happy fastday everyone, especially all newbies :clover:
Waving back to you @Lizbean and good morning @Sassy1. Ive done the grocery shopping and the ironing and soon Im off to the hairdresser to get rid of that pesky grey regrowth.
Im thinking chicken stirfry tonight and berries for dessert.
I'm in Thursday fast-team!
Feeling good today! It's making me feel better already - fingers crossed it works!
Have a great day all
x
Back again with my second black coffee! Chores done very efficiently today, so need to find other distractions for the afternoon.
@Wineoclock , it might be "snap!" for the evening meal!! A trip to the hairdresser is always a pleasant distraction - I have a visit next week for similar reasons, maybe I should swap my fast day to that day! :D
@Kelkelkelster, all sounds positive for a successful day for you!
And good luck for the morning @Lizbean - and to all others who join us. :clover: :clover:
Hi All, I'm in today. Just come back to 5:2 so now on my second fast day after a long break. "lunchtime" at work so checking in here to distract myself with a nice cup of liquorice tea. Looking forward to my smoked salmon and avocado salad for dinner tonight.

Welcome to the forums, @Pilch! Sounds like a great plan. :-)
It's rather quiet here for a Thursday!!
Welcome too @Pilch, hope it goes well for you. :clover: :)
I am on my next black coffee - decaf this time tho - to carry me through until I start dinner preparation in an hour or so. Am looking forward to it. :D
@Sassy1, I'm in. Second day back at work and this is the best way I know to get a great start on fast days. First term break I am going to have to be organised and firmer with myself. There is nothing like 'routine' to sort me out.

Happy, productive fasting everyone. Welcome @Pilch, every success to you.
Good to hear from you @chinchin, being at work does seem to help with fasting (generally, except for special morning teas!!) Hope the kids are behaving (assuming you are a teacher :) )
I'm in today, I hope. Not been eating much this week anyway, so should be straightforward. The hospital has its own M&S which actually has salads which I love, so managing dinner tonight should be fine.

Quick update: unfortunately my mother had complications after surgery and needed a second surgery to repair some damage which was giving her dangerously low BP. As a result she's still not awake yet (two days later) and is having trouble breathing. They're hoping to bring her out of sedation successfully today, and apparently this is not unusual for patients who have to go through what she's been through. In a way I'm glad her body is just dictating what's happening as it may mean she'll recover better in the long run. So.. not out of the woods yet, but each day has brought something new.

Not looking forward to fighting the snow on the roads to get down to the hospital today! Only 30 miles away but that might as well 1000 in the way that the UK manages its roads when there's snow.

Hi fellow-fasters :smile:
in for a back-to-back fast today and tomorrow. Saturday is first weigh-in 2015 and I am really curious what the scales will say/print out.

@LadanTrying
Sorry to read about the complications :cry: Take care driving.

@Pilch
Welcome and fff (fabolous fasting flow)
also for all of us

Cheers
Mahalo :heart:
Morning all, gotta love a black coffee to start another fast day, and another to keep it going, and another, and possibly a couple more!!
Feeling the fasting and caffeine buzz. Good luck everyone, enjoy your fasts x

Not a teacher, @Sassy1, I'm an Integration Aide. And, so far so good...only one day in with the children though.
And my fast has gone very well. I'm pleased because I knocked back a fancy high calorie salad at lunch time. :victory:
I'm not in today but was yesterday. I weigh daily and the scales were looking good this morning so I'm just popping in to give my support to all of you fasting today.

@LadanTrying, still thinking about you and your mum. Take care on the roads, we are having problems up here, the small amount of snow we had has frozen on the roads.
