well I am as well, did hold firm while rest of family were eating cakes when we went for coffee! Going to have to be careful tonight with the cals as going to mil who is doing hotdogs pre trick or treating with the kids!
I'm in today - very late posting I realise but hope can be forgiven as a newbie this week! This is my second ever fasting day - Monday I didn't eat until 6.30 and planning the same today, although think I feel hungrier and certainly very, very cold (so much for saving on the heating bills). From what I have read on here it gets better the longer you do it? (please say 'yes'). Like Nursebean going to have a M&S FullerLonger meal tonight - Cod Balti (?!) and bulking out with veg. Hope you are all having a good day. :?:
Afternoon fellow fasters 2nd fast of the week for me and I am going to have a can of 50 cal WW soup as a late lunch then an omelette filled out with veg and goats cheese for tea. Ive also got a sugarfree jelly for later if i get a sweet craving. So hard when all the kids are going trick and treating and bringing back all these lovely goodies however i will resist ... for today!

Good luck with the rest of your fasting day peeps :clover:
Oh No! More cake in the office today :curse: Mondays fast was sabotaged cause of birthday cake now today it's a leaving do. But i will resist. I will resist. I will resist
Ooh Alf, that's harsh! I really sympathise...but just think how fantastic you'll feel when you don't succumb!

I think, compared to a lot of you, I have it easy as I don't have kids. When my folks sit down to lunch I do some yoga! It must be very hard when there's some trick or treating to be had. Good luck to all you mums
I'm really struggling this afternoon, feeling very lethargic and grumpy. I just had a mug of hot squash (5 cals worth) which cheered me up a bit. I am determined to hold out till dinner as this is the first week for ages I have managed to schedule 2 fasts. 2 1/2 hours till dinner time :starving:
I'm past the point of self-sabotage now so I can officially announce that i'm in!! It's been tough today, I've had to do lots of talking myself out of breaking the fast.. I think it'll be an early night for me!

Keep going everyone, let's get this Thursday done!!
Hello fasters! I'm in today. Mid-day NY, keeping busy at work and planning to pop out for a pedicure during "lunch" Have been trying to keep the carbs to 150g or less this week, without much success, but I'll put that down to awareness is the first step...

Hugs to Judio -what a traumatic time for you and your family. Hang in there and speedy recovery to your son. Yikes!

Happy fasting and downward scales to you all...

I have felt like this for every fast over the last 3 weeks!! Do you think the dark cold Autumn is to blame? x
Full now  and about 150 cals left for an evening treat if I feel like it.
@spanner, I think the problem for me today is that I haven't been outside at all, on Tuesday I had a pleasant mooch around TK Maxx and M&S (not the food bit) I didn't buy anything but it broke up the day, and helped me get my Fitbit steps up for the day.
I struggled today also. Got to be one of my hardest so far. Being Half term doesn't help. Had to have a tea, a marigold, a hot choc. Daughters been baking cup cakes. Then my hand kept dipping into the trick or treat tin. I've had a refresher chew and a chocolate eyeball.
Just woke up. Another fast done. Yay. Happy Halloween to our American friends.:-) you can eat your kids treats today! Good luck with your weigh in today :clover: @Sue.Q :clover: - I've got a good feeling . :-)
Xx julianna
