Hi Wineoclock - I'm in today too. Nothing for me until dinner today.

Sallyo - hope your blood tests came back with good results.

Have a great day everyone!
@[tag]Wineoclock[/tag]Dinner will be served at 7pm, And no blood resulte yet. I live in the country, so it will take weeks to get an appointment with the doc. Don't worry, I'll give a full report on my bloods as soon as I know them. Very interested. Kelkelkelster, good luck on the fast. It took me months to get to going without breakfast and lunch but now it feels completely normal. I do get a bit snakey around 5pm, and don't talk to me while I'm getting dinner ready!
I'll be fasting when Thursday comes around, too. I'm away from home at a three day seminar so I'm curious how it will go.
I'm in today too. I'm feeling quite tired and drained today so I'm not sure how easy I'll find it.
I've been on 5:2 for 8 weeks now and it's been getting easier and easier. Seeing the results helps so much. I'm down 2.9kg and although I've not measured myself for a couple of weeks, I can feel a difference in my clothes.
Now I need to get the motivation to exercise and tone up too.
Good luck today everyone! :)
Thank you Sallyo! It's definitely got easier! I think I definitely know at the beginning of a fast whether it's going to be an easy one or not. I love how aware it's making me about the psychology around my eating (i.e when I'm happy, sad, lonely, stressed, bored. You may have noticed a trend - it's anytime!)
Sallyo - do you just liquid fast all day then until dinner? Good luck with your results! :)
I'm in after a good nights sleep

This will be fast #4 and I'm hoping will go as smoothly as Sundays. I am finding though that I crave carbs like theres no tomorrow the day after and it really disrupts my eating habits  . So I'm gonna work on managing that better this time round

Good luck fasters and good night, see you all in 8 hours time :sleepy:
Bobbyd good luck and let us know how your fast goes

I'm going to a 5 day conference on Sunday so I'll have both my fast days whilst I'm away not to mention all the "business dinners" that play havoc with keeping to TDEE. I'm hopeful you'll share your success story that will spur me on
@kelkelkelster: I have only had tea and coffee today, but I often have an intstant miso soup at lunch time. I felt ok today, so I just had tea. It's still in my purse if things get desperate later this afternoon. Day at work over, grade 1s survived and it off to visit mother at the nursing home.
Oh dear, I'm struggling today, not really in the right frame of mind. I've snacked a bit so don't have so many calories left for my dinner which I've been looking forward to all day. I almost gave up a couple of times, but just about hanging in there, although I know that I will gave gone over 500 by bedtime. Feels like a waste. Oh well....I'll do better next time.
Fast #3 of this week. Can't believe how quickly this week has gone. Good luck fasters :clover:
I'm in as usual on a Thursday; have just had my dinner of mushroom risotto which was much appreciated on this wintry cold summer day! :curse:

Fasting has been extra easy today because I'm looking forward to a special trip to my favourite country town tomorrow; they sell the most delicious nougat and fudge in the sweet shop there...
I learnt a big lesson this morning: don't take vitamins on an empty stomach!! I had horrible stomach cramps which only abated with some food, but luckily I kept the snacking to celery sticks and a carrot, plus my normal miso at lunch. Ended up fasting okay and just had some leftovers for dinner, with calories to spare for a nectarine later for dessert.

Hope everyone else goes ok!
This will be my first fast today. Going with a Thu/Mon fast plan.

17 stone 7lbs this morning. Got a long way to go...

Hi Folks, I'm in too for the usual Thursday. It's the second of the week for me and marks my six month anniversary of starting 5:2. (I did comment on this on Monday, but the site crashed and lost my verse!)
Anyway, I shall continue despite having a stubborn virus at present (flu like with nasty cough) - if only to make amends for a lovely Christmas meal that I enjoyed last night with some friends (3 courses, I'm not used to the quantity now)
I 'dug out' a 'best' outfit for the meal and was pleased that it fitted well now. I wonder how many of us keep clothes of this sort, and have noticed our figures changing for the better thanks to 5:2?
I am so pleased with this WOL and feel that it really gives a feeling of control back, which is a confidence booster.
Good Luck Thursday fasters, have a good day!
I'm in today too. Need a big final push to reach my christmas goal!
Welcome to you couch potato and good luck! :clover:
