Same here! Planning to call it an early night. Looking forward to a long weekend of feed days!
Yep, we're in today. Hubby is just cooking up our omelets and then we'll chow down. :starving:
Struggling today :( I've almost given in many times. It's 1:30 pm now so hoping to hold out just a bit longer. ;)
Today was slightly masochistic, but not unbearable, and just goes to show that this can be sustainable. My husband and I went out at lunchtime and we stopped at a pub where he ate ham, egg and chips (with my blessing!) while I sat sipping diet coke. Didn't sneak a single chip. Then my daughter's school had a first day back welcome tea where there were some lovely scones with jam and clotted cream. Again, not a morsel, just a cup of tea with a dash of milk. I made turkey and courgette burgers from my Jerusalem book (I reduced the fat but didn't count the calories - I rarely do) with some couscous and steamed spinach for dinner. I have just finished my workout and am done for the day and looking forward to some wine and nice food over the weekend.

Happy fasting to those whose days have not yet ended.
Oh that was a horrible fast today. Probably because I wasn't planning to fast so my head wasn't in the 5:2 zone. I have been sooooooooooooo hungry all day, my stomach is howling at me, so I'm off to bed, sulking as I'm wanting food. But, I won't break it now, bit pointless as I'm almost finished. Still it's done now and I shall dream of TOAST.
I just finished my dinner, it was yummy! While I was eating I had a little bit of metallic taste in my mouth which was not that pleasant, but I just read here that it may mean that I am in ketosis and that is good! I hope that is the case :)
My food today was: coffee for breakfast and then nothing but water until about 16:00 when I picked up my DD and ate some of their leftover grapes and a couple of strawberries. Dinner was a "chile relleno" (poblano pepper stuffed with cheese), grilled veggies and some beans. Of course I had my little square of 70% dark chocolate. In all, it was about 400-450kcal.
Looking forward to my feast day tomorrow!
You can do it, Betsysgr8!! Here is some motivation for you. :)

I tried to do water only but HAD to have 2C black coffee this morning. SO just got home and proceeded to cook zucchini muffins. Oh they smell delish!

Thanks bobby! :like: I did it! Yes I did! :victory:
I'm in. Working from home as usual, so I find it quite easy to just focus on that and not think about food too much.
You can count me in for my normal Fast today.

Good Luck everyone
