Hello everybody

It's Thursday so Fasting today, I am feeling quite miserable with the Hay Fever at the moment - I love the Spring but the Rye Grass doesn't like me very much, sneeze, sneeze, sniffle, sniffle......!!!

Enjoy the day wherever you are, this will be my last full day Fast for a couple of weeks, we are heading up North to sunny Queensland, I am so looking forward to some relaxing time by the water and the sunshine.

cheers
Maggie
I'm in too .Thanks Maggie for starting the thread.Enjoy your break.
I missed Monday's fast as I was in the country for a couple of days and was spoilt by my daughter's cooking. YUMMY!!!!
Lots of water and green tea today
Cheers all
Carmel
Hi All. Hope you feel better soon Maggiee and enjoy your holiday. Quick hello, at work today as I was partying Monday. Tired after seeing DS in the Musical Cats last night. Going to get a black coffee and then start the day.
Cheers
Hi All - I'm fasting today as well - day 2 of the diet - got through day 1 on Tues and already starting to wonder whether 1 day in between is enough :) - I'm going for my morning Mocha followed by a lunchtime snack and then soup for dinner…………….fingers crossed!!
I'm in today. Have a good holiday Maggiee and good luck Wilson. Believe it or not, I find fasting easier if I haven't had a long break in between.
Thanks for the tip MaryAnne - will see how I go :)
I'm fasting Thursday although it's still Wednesday here. I fasted on Tuesday afer a week off (sort of) due to half term and found things seem to be getting back to normal. Fasts have been a bit icky lately but fingers crossed tomorrow won't be too bad. Good luck everyone.
Hi everyone! :) I am in today too. :)
Didn't quite manage the light day yesterday that I planned as part of my strategy to counteract the weekend's indulgences, but at least I kept within TDEE.
As with Wilson, I fasted Tuesday and one day in between does not seem much. Hopefully we have MaryAnn's experience!
It seems to be a bad season for hay fever Maggie, I trust the trip up north will help a lot! Have a great time. :)
Sounds like a nice time with your daughter Carmel :)
And how wonderful seeing your DS in Cats Wineoclock. Such amazing singing and dancing. Love the Mr Mistoffeles song.
Best wishes to all today :)
I am in and keen as have a day to myself which I find usually works out to be my best fast days where I can potter about in the garden, around the house and do bookwork catchup.

Had a fabulous fast Monday with good results and seemed to manage a window of 5 hours yesterday so might be on a roll, one which is much needed as have errant scales repair job in mind

All the best everyone and may the fast be with you, make mine a fluid fast too as long as I last then small seafood marina with lots of salad, which is done and dusted. Coffee at 1 after the gym
Hello all you fortunate people who have spring and summer to look forward to. One of these years I swear I'll winter down under, even if it meant having spring allergies twice a year.

I'll be fasting with you when it is Thursday here tomorrow!
Do come and visit peebles! It would be lovely to meet you. :)
I'm in today, maintenance fast.was planning on having more cals than my usual 700 to 800, as I keep losing rather than maintaining, but I went completely mad yesterday instead :-) cake, chocolate, 3 meals, haloumi snack, wine! And today I forgot to take my protein bar, so porridge Greek yoghurt, coffee for bfst. Training it home now and will shop then late lunch. I make this weird omelette...2 eggs in normal omelette, then the put my curried veg on top, non fast days I add cheese. Now it sounds odd but it's delish and will add some cals as I'm a bit light. I don't want to look like I have a terminal disease  in fact my brother lost so much weight fasting, he had people asking his boss if he had cancer! I am the lightest weight I have been in about 45 years. I don't think I look too slim, but soon someone will tell me  good luck fasters
Peebles, I'd quite like a house in the Northern Hemisphere and another in the Southern Hemisphere  No winter ever sounds pretty perfect to me!
I'm in today. Second week in a row of fasting, is my mojo finally back??? Bout bloody time!
I'm in, it's a regular fast day for me. I missed breakfast completely and only having cucumber and cherry tomatoes until later this afternoon or if I can manage until dinner. I missed breakfast yesterday as well. I have been wanting to skip breakfast on a regular basis for a while, but was nervous about doing so. I think I like not having breakfast, it's a lighter feeling in the body, ultimately on the scales eventually as well. :)

Happy fasting everyone. :clover:
Just checking in while having my second black coffee for the day, having just completed the weekly houseclean - yeah!

@Chinchin, as you know, many who do 5:2 and particularly those who use the eating windows approach to IF skip brekkie. It really seems to work well, and gives the benefit of longer periods with no food. So see how you go with it! I went for many months without brekkie, but did find that after a few months on maintenance, I started to feel hungry every day until (and after) I had lunch. Didn't like that, so, on advice, now have eggs and oats (not together!) for a mid morning breakfast before a latish lunch. It has helped me. But most people do seem very happy not having brekkie. It is whatever works for you, and it is worth trying different eating routines if for whatever reason you are not happy with your current one. Good luck! :)
