I hope so, because yesterday was a disastrous failure :frown:

Will try for liquids all day, black coffee, miso for lunch, soup for tea - and an early night
Me too. I'm fasting today as I did an 'Insanity' workout yesterday and didn't think fasting and insanity would be a good mix!

This will be the first time I try the 'no breakfast and 500 cals at dinner' fast. It's 10.25am in the UK...and I'm already pretty hungry. Hmmmm....

But tonight...I can have my massive home made chicken curry and rice. Yum
I'm in too. This will be the first week for a while that I will be able to fit in 2 proper fasts.
It is runner bean time we can't eat them fast enough. You can have an enormous mound of them for almost no calories, so runner beans and a Waitrose Love Life ready meal for dinner.
I may have some Bovril around 2pm if I really, really need it.
Good luck everyone :clover:
We are in too. Fasting today instead of yesterday.

Yesterday was my son's 16th so no way to have a fast day.

Good luck to everyone.
I've eaten 509 calories today. I didn't prepare very well for it today which is naughty and would have liked to be able to have my hot chocolate (with Stevia) tonight before bed, but I've blown my calories. It doesn't matter.

We've been away visiting grandchildren in Brisbane and I didn't have a fasting day for the first week of August. This is the second fasting day since we've been back. I would normally have a fasting day on Friday but I'm donating blood so it'll probably have to be Saturday - I prefer not to do it on weekends, but I've really got to get back into the swing of things.

We went to a picnic yesterday and it blew up a gale (literally) - so it all turned into a bit of an adventure as branches came down around us and table wear and food went flying. We just gave up trying and packed up and went home. That's Sydney weather for you.
Wow Pipsqueak you were brave to be picnicking in that weather. Your only 9 cals over too that's nothing.
Well it's the end of my fast day, it went well. I hope that everyone that is still fasting today is having a good one
Goodnight all :sleepy:
My OH & I are in today instead of our usual Monday fast. We will eat our calories for dinner tonight that will be M&S Fuller longer Thai curries. So far coffee & water to drink but I have to go for a dental check up at 2-00pm so not looking forward to that :frown:
I am taking my second cup of honey and apple cider vinager of the day. It helps my cough and seems to help to shred the pounds as well and the taste is not as bad as it seems
I'm also fasting as usual today. I had a cut of tea (no sugar, semi-skimmed milk) and other than that have had diet cola and water. Will save calories for dinner. I play netball on a Tues as well, but I actually dont mind that on a fast day.

Had bad feast days though, but that was more to do with lots of DIY and exhaustion causing me to order a curry than feeling hungry from fasting!
I just had a soup of 1tsp Knorr chicken stock powder and a 100g of runner beans with a tiny bit of Tom Yum paste. 28 cals by my reckoning
Hi there
Today's my first fast day and its amazing how well it's going!! Hunger hasn't really kicked in yet.
Welcome to the forum PBC! Remember water is your friend when a tummy grumble comes around. It's only 1 day. :)
Hi all - I'm fasting today, my usual day. However, it's the first time in a long time I have fasted at home (usually I've been fasting on days I would go to the City to work). But I am not working anymore so I have to adapt to fasting at home with 2 kids, a husband (who works from home) and an au pair all of whom need to be fed during the day. One course I may take is to have our au pair prepare lunch for the kids, herself and my husband and I prepare dinner for everyone. That's the plan today - I'm going to make a shepherd's pie and just have a really small portion with lots of runner beans (thanks for the tip SianS!). I'm hoping it will get easier once the kids are back in school and I can just tell my husband to make himself a sandwich on my fast days.

Definitely feeling the cold today - it's one side effect of fasting I really do dislike.
