Good Morning. Doing a Tuesday this week instead of Monday. I'm hoping its not as windy here today, yesterday we had gusts of 90 kilometres an hour. A bit scary, and the yard what a mess of branches etc.

I'm in, although it's still Monday here. I baked a chicken breast for tonight but I wasn't hungry so I'll probably cut it in half and eat it tomorrow for both lunch and dinner.
Wine-o I'm in too...I think ;>) Put on 600gms and have a friend coming for the weekend, so lots food/wine, so thought I had better do 4:3...again - 5:2 didn't last long LOL...But I am disorganised with no soup or anything ready for the day. Just had an apple and some coffee. Well we shall see how the day progresses, but if I fail i'll have to go again tomorrow and that would be 2 bfst missed in a row - my favourite meal of the day - that will spur me on!

Yes wind was terrible, I have a HUGE gum tree next door and I hope that doesn't crash down one day. Wind looks OK today tho.
Hi Ime also in..... although its stil Monday here as well.... ive had a really bad day today :cry: ... ate everyhting in sight!!!!!! so will proably struggle tomorrow.....happy fasting x
GMH my neighbour also has a huge gum tree and we know they are notorious for coming down in the wind. Huge branches seem to always land on my clothesline. I'm worried one day I'll be out there and one will land on me. Good luck with your fast today.
Was windy yesterday here in Melbourne too. Grey skies, peeing down with rain then an hour later beautiful clear sky with brilliant sunshine - typical Melb!
I am in today. Treated myself to a lie in as I am taking a break from 30 Day Shred and had an apple and half a litre of water so far.
Going to do 24 hour fasts for a few weeks as an experiment instead of 36 hours. I simply don't have the willpower for 36 hours anymore and usually end up binging afterwards and kidding myself about how many calories I have eaten. Let's see if this plateau FINALLY moves. :D
Hi Everyone, I'm doing Tuesday instead of my usual Monday, had a public holiday yesterday so made the most of a spectacular long weekend (weather wise).

Must say as the weather starts to warm up I'm finding the fast days are easier and it's nice to be able to drink more water than herbal teas.

Was looking for something different to put in my water and found from the health food shop Braggs Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with "The Mother" it's really good for you and apparently can help with weight loss, anyway Google it or I would like to hear from anyone else who drinks it.

I am finding my routine of Tuesday/Thursday fasting means I get a fantastic run of 4 days where I don't have to think about what I eat at all ... but when Tuesday comes around, it is certainly a shock to the system!

My weigh in day is Wednesday morning. I'm not feeling very confident that I'll see a loss this week...

Wineo those gum trees are a big worry, at least the councils will let people cut them down now after so many disasters - I reckon the one next to me would take out next door or the one across the road - or into my pool, but not the house thankfully. Zingbing what was that public holiday? Rudd day ;>) About the apple cider vinegar - used to go to school with a kid whose parents believed it was the elixir of life - all their kids had a teaspoon (& us when we stayed over) every morning. I have done quite a bit of research on acid in the body. Cider vinegar really good for it - so is lemon juice in ur water. Get 'litmus' strips @ health food shops, either pee on them or lick them and u will see they don't change if ur body is too acidic, but if ur body is alkaline (good) goes a deep green. I used to experiment with food and it was amazing how lemon water made u alkaline even if u ate carbs.
Back to fast...going well today, not that hungry, so far apple, coffee, mini protein bar - 200 ish cals - then will have an 8 cal hot choc b4 walking the dogs on the beach - stunning day again today 21+C, tshirt and need shorts really. Then salad with roast veg for dinner.
I am glad today to be aware of you friends fasting too. Here we both are in it too today, just having black tea with drops of lemon juice. Off to the gym for 6.30 am, like to do it really early, breakfast 1 boiled egg, blueberries. Teaching two lessons, then lots of things to sort out at home knowing it will be productive and will feel great satisfaction in that!
This evening kipper fillets with lots of green beans then a salad ( easy to prepare).
I feel glad it's a fast day, and am not feeling hungry. It always surprises me how that can be in the morning. I will not be thinking a lot about food, and browse on this forum when I have time.

Morning/afternoon all. I'm in today, second fast of a week of 4:3 for me.
First one was SUnday and first day at new work and first after the holidays. Went much easier than anticipated. Felt the support from around the globe :)
Yesterday lunch time was a group meal so changed evening meal to soup. Will need to be aware of this kind of stuff as everybody in work has big guts! OK they're also all about a mile high, male and active, but I really don;t want to join. ALthough I've been given three months to acquire one! em, no ta!
So, coffee, water and maybe peppermint tea until evening meal of usual poached eggs.

I'm in. Not eating til dinner time tonight. Second fast of 3 although I've realised that on Friday I can only do a semi fast as I'm going out in the evening. Still hoping it will kick start some weight loss at last.

Hello everyone and good week to all !

I am in today as I couldn't fast yesterday. In fact I was awake since 4:00 AM and at 10:30 AM I had to give up the fast as I was so hungry I didn't see myself fasting and waiting until 7:00 PM for dinner as I only have one meal during fast days....

Today all is in order, I feel good, except for my cough but it's almost under control. I didn't think of what I'll eat tonight, I don't like to prepare in advance.

I will do 2 days in a row as thursday as thursday is bank holiday here and I'll have a big lunch with family.
