Morning all,
Or early afternoon for those in the eastern states and elsewhere. Fastnig today after a very indulgent week off with hubby. Far too many lovely carbs and I know I am suffering for it, but who couldn't resist a free buttery croissant?!!
Anyway, finding it hard going and ravenous already but once today is out of te way, it will be easier I'm sure!
I'm in for my second fast of the week. Half over already! Almost there! :victory: :cool:

I'm in today - I had a massive headache yesterday so I blew off my usual Monday fast. Finding today much easier so far!
Sometimes it just ain't happening! Just drinking liquorice root tea. bluuggrh :sick:
I blew it big time yesterday and I am not fasting for the moment, as a matter of fact I am taking time out from 5:2 and 16/8 - I need to re-think my strategies after losing 5kg - I have been over-eating especially the white carbs.

It's back to basics for me and I am taking the pressure off myself - see you when I get back!

Don't disappear for good, we are all here for moral support and advice. Maybe pitch your own tent for a while, or pop in at the low-carb tent! I am also guilty of eating the white carbs (akin to a heroin fix methinks!).
I'm in today. Need to make this a good fast as I only have today and thursday I can fast this week. Fancy having a life to work around :lol:
Oh, hoorah! Someone from England is fasting too! Pleased to see you in here @Winsome and hope you enjoy your fast. At least you'll be getting in, what, 3 fasts this week? That's not bad is it. This week is my 4-day fast week...oh boy!

We're fasting today, first of the week and really NEED it. Haven't stuck to my TDEE efficiently in the last 10 days and very inactive for the last 3 days. Sometimes need to be a couch potato but feel yuk......So action required.....
1) Onto the bike for my basic HIIT. Just 5 mins or so. Then light breakfast of blueberries and cottage cheese
2) Teaching 4 individual students till noon, then
3)Going into the lovely new greenhouse to do some potting, sewing seeds for my kitchen herbs. Then hopefully ironing, mending, (put the radio on) and computing to make audio CDS for pupils, so I have plenty to do as ever.
Into the kitchen only for black coffee or herb tea, water and lovely mug of bouillon .....the day will fly till our dinner of prepared light cottage pie with celeriac topping and green beans.
Then DVD to watch, and/or my good book to read. How about some viola practice?!
I'm going to do well, setting a good trend for the rest of the week and till Easter. I feel it in my bones. :smile: May you all enjoy your fast day too!! :clover:
I'm in today, still undecided between a Quorn Bolognese and Slim Pasta or a Prawn Salad for my dinner.
10 mins HIIT on the Cross trainer, then some chores, followed by some seed planting.

I am fasting today instead of my usual Monday as we were away for the weekend and I decided to swap. Although I am going to find it tricky today as I am on a training course all day - at least that might mean the time goes quicker! I am motivated though as I reckon I've put on about half a stone over the weekend so am back to where I started - never mind!

Need to get into my head that this is a way of life and not a diet!
Sounds like a well-planned day @Katherina - what book are you reading? Don't worry @Lu Luthats just water and @SianS I like the sound of the Quorn bolognaise with pasta...but then I'm a carb fiend. Just don't tell those in the low-carb tent :wink:

I am in today and its my first Tuesday to fast!
Reason is I am trying 4:3 this week and its also my first 2 day consecutive fast!
Me too! First fast day since it all went awry last week so I'm really hoping I can get back on the wagon. Have my food all worked out (i.e none until dinner time), my sugar free jelly is hidden in the back of my fridge so the kids don't eat it and my peppermint tea is ready to go. Feeling vaguely determined so hopefully I'll get there today. Good luck to us all.
